As a Litigation and eDiscovery Paralegal at Dropbox, you’ll be a key member of our legal team, supporting the Litigation team. Natus Medical Incorporated (“Natus”) is in the process of separating its business into two separate entities, the Neuro and the Sensory Divisions, with each focused on a separated product line and segment of the medical device industry. Natus has hundreds of contracts that will need to be assigned from one entity to the other, with notices, consents, amendments, and updated contracts required for many of its relationships. As a Paralegal you will play a significant role in drafting, distributing and tracking these notices, consents, amendments and updated contracts. It is anticipated that this role will require full time work (40 hours/week) through early October 2024, then reduced hours (~20 hours/week) through end of November 2024, then 10 hours/week through Q1 or as necessary in 2025.

Serving as the immigration expert, you’ll be an integral member of the Legal function and of a cross-functional and collaborative team in a dynamic growth environment. The Paralegal will own the communications for the intake of immigration cases, collection of documents and information, and facilitating cases throughout the immigration process in coordination with Cohere’s outside immigration counsel. Your immigration work will include:

• Coordinate and manage PERM recruitment steps with external counsel and in-house team (including posting of NOF, intranet posting, working with stakeholders to provide guidance on resume review process)
• Review and sign off Labor Condition Applications (LCAs) as well as immigration applications, petitions and other filings prepared by external legal counsel
• Evaluate cases, communicate concerns, and proactively and appropriately escalate if/as necessary
• Draft work and travel support letters such as TNs and B-1s for review and sign-off by immigration counsel
• Manage status of all filed applications and petitions per policy and utilize data management and accounting/billing systems to prepare, monitor, and record all aspects of work

Your background & requirements:

• 3+ years of business immigration paralegal experience, required
