What we're looking for

doola is seeking a dedicated and people-oriented professional to join our team as a People Operations Associate. This role is crucial for enhancing employee satisfaction and streamlining HR processes as doola continues to grow. As a central figure in our HR department, you’ll directly contribute to fostering a supportive and efficient workplace environment. If you excel in a fast-paced setting, have strong interpersonal skills, and are passionate about developing workplace culture, this role is for you.

What you will do

* Act as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related queries with promptness and reliability.

* Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, providing a warm welcome and detailed guidance about company policies and procedures.
* Manage HR records, including personnel files and attendance data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support the administration of benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
* Coordinate training sessions and workshops that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and systems that improve workplace culture and employee experiences.
* Collaborate with various departments to support HR projects, such as surveys, performance reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.

Who you are

* You have 2-4 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and HR administration.

* You are knowledgeable about U.S. labor laws and have experience with HR systems and databases.
* You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with and supporting team members at all levels within the company.
* You are a problem-solver with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
* You thrive in a startup environment, adapting quickly to changes and proactively seeking ways to improve processes.
* You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
