The Senior Platform Engineer has a critical role that will have a significant impact on Cloud products. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Advance Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps for the company.
- Increase successful product delivery velocity.
- Produce templates, modules, and other reusable components to enable other engineering teams to be successful.
- Debug problems at scale for our mission critical services and help our development teams implement lasting fixes to recurring issues.
- Build, debug, and configure CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and help implement infrastructure improvements CData cloud applications.
- Support & contribute improvements to the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Cloud applications.
- Define and measure production availability, downtime, and service level outages.
- Enhance monitoring and observability of application performance and errors.
- Define and implement monitoring metrics and alerts to ensure tools and environments are meeting SLA's for uptime and performance.
Professional Requirements:
- Knockout criterion - production Kubernetes experience
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., EE, physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience and including: 5 + years professional coding software development experience.
- Deep understanding of Linux and containerization.
- Experience with Kubernetes both as a developer and from an operations perspective.
- 5+ years of experience working with public cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
- Experience deploying and operating applications, Java or C# preferred.
- Experience with GitOps based workflows. (FluxCD preferred)
- Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform preferred)
- Database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with development practices and tools (ex. JIRA, Git, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with messaging systems and APIs
- Working knowledge of networking (e.g., firewall, routing, network topologies, etc)

My company is called Custody X Change. I’ve been working on the business since 2004. We sell a web application that creates co-parenting schedules and plans. It also helps families make difficult decisions post-orce/separation, and facilities communication between two parents who may not get along very well anymore. All of this reduces a lot of conflict and saves people a ton of money in legal fees.
The biggest problem to solve first is our mobile design. (Our product is a PWA, not a native app.) We designed our product desktop-first, and simply made it responsive for mobile. We’d like to upend that thinking, and design a mobile-first experience instead. Improvements there will also flow into our desktop experience.
We’ve conducted desktop usability studies, but we haven’t done any mobile-specific user research. Improving our mobile experience will improve user engagement and satisfaction – especially as we validate the changes we make with customers.

Infisical is a deeply technical product with user and developer experience at the heart of our product philosophy. We obsess over product design and have made rounds to redesign just about every part of the platform since inception. Examples of past initiatives include redesigning existing features like secret syncs and secret rotation; and developing new product lines ground up such as Infisical PKI and Infisical SSH.
You’ll be working closely with the co-founders and engineering team to:
* Translate product requirements into intuitive user experiences, focusing on complex infrastructure and security workflows.
* Develop and refine the visual design language across all of Infisical’s product lines.* Create design assets, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.Requirements
* Exceptional visual design skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating polished, functional user experiences (3+ years of experience).
* A bias toward action – able to make decisions with incomplete information, iterate quickly, and take calculated risks.* Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such such as Figma.* Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.Bonus
* Familiarity with the latest trends in software product design.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping Infisical’s future — exploring creative product directions, owning key design decisions, refining existing user experiences.
Overall, you'll have the opportunity to take full ownership of design engineering at Infisical and be one of the defining pieces of our team as we scale to thousands of customers over the next 18 months.

About the Role
We’re looking for a well-rounded, idea-driven designer with a keen eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and passion for visual storytelling. You will take ownership of concept development by actively participating in brainstorming sessions, sketching initial ideas, and exploring erse design directions to transform creative concepts into compelling visual solutions.
You’ll design for:
Digital ads, web banners, and landing pages
Social media assets across platforms
Logos, icons, and branding elements
Email marketing and direct mail
POS displays, signage, and event collateral
Print advertising and brochures
Campaign toolkits and presentation decks
Unique creative projects such as brand activations, stage branding, and vehicle wraps
Must-Have Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in a graphic design role — preferably in media, entertainment, advertising, or agency
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (After Effects, Firefly with Cinema 4D a plus!)
Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com
Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or XD for digital/UI design
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is a big plus
Strong typography, layout, and composition skills
Ability to work within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
Comfortable balancing multiple projects and tight deadlines
Clear communication and a team-first mindset
Nice to Have
Experience designing for audio platforms or entertainment brands
Animation/motion design skills
Photography or photo editing/retouching experience
A solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles
