ItsaCheckmate is searching for a passionate and experienced eMail Marketing Specialist who can take the lead with our email marketing program.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for the overall success of our email program, focusing on ad-hoc and drip-based customer nurturing, acquisition, and retention initiatives from conception, production, testing, deployment, and reporting. This position is cross-functional, working within the marketing team to execute a broad digital marketing strategy that employs content and performance marketing at its core, and collaborates closely with Sales, Account Management, Product Management, and Customer Service to drive a variety of outbound programs in support of the company’s objectives.

As an email marketing professional, you are data/metric-driven, use best practices for list segmentation and hygiene, understand the importance of domain reputation for inboxing, and are versed in consumer accessibility and protection laws like CAN-SPAM, CCPA, TCPA, GDPR, CASL, etc.

This position has no direct reports and occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Maintain the email campaign calendar to track both the production schedule and workload, as well as manage email communication frequency
  • Devise strategies to increase engagement through email design, content optimization, and conversion optimization
  • Conduct A/B tests in subject lines and creative and copy tests to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion
  • Partner with the creative team to manage and oversee all aspects of the email development process (eg: briefing the design and copy team, creative review, approval process, scheduling, and deployment). Provide insights and industry best practices to improve program performance and develop a best-in-class program that delivers results
  • Maintain and analyze weekly and monthly reports for email KPI results, including but not limited to list health and delivery rates, open rates, click-through rates, and lead creation
  • Develop strategy and executes tactics to maximize inboxing
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of CRMs like HubSpot and SalesForce
  • Outstanding knowledge of email/marketing platforms like HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Sendgrid, etc
  • You have great attention to detail
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
