Position Description:

Social Impact is developing a more robust cadre of long-term consultants who can providegraphic designsupport for various research activities, which may include impact evaluations, performance evaluations, monitoring systems, or other studies. Topics covered range across sectors, including education, democracy and governance, health, economic growth, environment, and others.

Under this solicitation, SI intends to select qualified consultants to contract via Blanket Service Agreements (BSAs). Each BSA will establish pricing and parameters for ordering services in the future. SI project teams will then issue Work Orders for the procurement of specific services over the duration of the BSA. Once the Work Order is fully executed, the consultant shall provide the services described in the Work Order. SI is only obligated to pay for services ordered through Work Orders issued under the BSA and delivered by the consultant in accordance with the terms/conditions of the BSA.

The level of engagement of each consultant under the BSA is variable and project dependent. The initial consulting agreement will be for one year from the date the BSA is fully executed and may be extended based on performance. All work may be completed remotely. This solicitation does not commit SI to award a contract nor to a specific level of engagement.

Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

  • The exact products that the graphic designers support will be determined based on each specific product under each Work Order. Possibilities include:
  • Designing templates or resources supporting project deliverables
  • Developing visually appealing research outputs for external audiences (e.g., slide decks, one-pagers, report covers, etc.)
  • Additional tools / resources as required within the estimated LOE

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in graphic design
  • Demonstrated experience producing user-centered research products
  • Experience providing graphic design support for USAID, MCC, or other international donor funded activities strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with USAID branding and marking requirements strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience producing Section 508c compliant deliverables preferred
  • Ability to maintain high-quality work with tight deadlines, including adapting to client requests
  • Professional proficiency in writing, reading, and speaking English
