< class="h2">About ONE

ONE is on a mission to help people save and grow their money, in order to live better.

Today, people are getting by instead of getting ahead. Most use 5-7 apps to manage their financial lives, leaving them feeling disconnected from their money – and stressed. Moreover, 2 out of 3 people have no emergency savings and pay over $250 in overdraft fees each year.

We’re building ONE for people to manage their finances in one place, reduce financial stress, and focus on the things that matter most.

We're seeking folks who are hungry, humble, and honest and ready to build a financial product that directly addresses the financial needs of those who need it most.

< class="h2">The role

As the Head of Product Marketing you'll be responsible for product launches, go-to-market, messaging, positioning, user and market research, and raising the bar for our product experience. We're looking for an entrepreneurial leader who likes to set strategy, manage teams, but is also comfortable doing the work. You will be deeply grounded in audience insights through partnership with research, analytics, and by driving original research to define the needs of the consumer audience. You will have a track record of leveraging insights to build consensus with large cross-functional teams and of building trusted relationships with senior product leaders. You will thrive on analytics and set a learning agenda for all projects that raises the bar for impact against engagement and business goals.

This role is responsible for:

  • Strategy. Product strategy. Marketing strategy. Growth strategy. Messaging strategy. There's no amount of corporate strategy that won't benefit greatly from a strong product marketing leader providing strategic input.

  • Launching products & managing go-to-market. Craft the vision and strategy for product development by performing customer research, tell a compelling product story, and quarterback the go-to-market process.

  • Up-leveling our positioning and messaging. Fintech is rapidly evolving and changing. There's a huge opportunity to tell a compelling 'so what' story to connect our products with our future customers and you'll be at the center of it.

  • Cross-functional project management. No one person can launch a product alone, so it takes a leader to work with a erse cross-functional to bring a product from idea to launch. If you're part-visionary, part-diplomat, part-manager, and part-communicator, you're on the right track.

  • Driving action and momentum for a growing team. A startup in a rapidly-evolving space can be frenetic, energizing, chaotic, ambiguous, and empowering. We need leaders who not only take initiative, but inspire others to do so, too.

  • Understanding the ecosystem. While this is a consumer marketing role, you will also need to understand the multiple players in the payments ecosystem across consumers, merchants, policy makers, news media, governments and advocates to ensure the consumer work is contextually relevant.

< class="h2">You bring
  • Years of experience: Expert (10+ Years).

  • The Triple H Factor: Hungry, Humble, Honest.

  • An act-like-an-owner mentality. We have a bias toward taking action.

  • Strong demonstrated partnerships with product and sales orgs. You are able to point to moments when you have influenced the product roadmap and times that you have helped drive a revenue number.

  • The ability to distill complex information into understandable, actionable, persuasive assets.

  • Customer-centric with experience in generating qualitative and quantitative insights and using those insights to inform your marketing strategies.

  • A strong bias towards action and sense of curiosity. As a fast-growing company, everyone's scope is big and we're always doing something new.

  • Strong writing and presentation skills. Experienced public speaker.
