Clad is construction management software for building infrastructure.

We’re looking for Clad’s first AE.

Last year, we 7x’ed revenue and 3x’ed customers, just from founder led sales.

Contractors and internet providers are using Clad every day to build faster and with less manual overhead.

We’re on to something, and it’s time to ramp up growth.

The Product

We’re building Procore ($1.3B revenue / yr), for infrastructure - think telecom, utilities, roads, solar cells, etc.

We sell 3 products today, many of our customers use more than one:

1. Project Management - Track work, linked to the project’s financials

2. Vendor Management - Solicit bids, onboard and track subcontractors
3. Inventory Management - Track materials

We’re building a unified collection of products for the entire construction lifecycle.

About us

* ~5 years of runway, raised $2.7M from Y Combinator, Better Tomorrow Ventures, and others. Most of it is still in the bank.

* 4 people - 1 founder + 3 engineers
* In-person team in NYC

Requirements

* Experience: You’ve sold 5-6 figure SaaS before, and consistently hit quota

* Velocity: You are scrappy, hungry, and have an unbelievable amount of energy. No challenge is too big.
* Curiosity: You love testing hypotheses to find new channels, tactics, or customers
* Product Sense: You can spot what customers really need, and inform our product roadmap
* Travel: You’re willing to get on a plane - we work in an industry that revolves around durable trust-based relationships

This is a quota-carrying role. $80-120k base salary, $80-120k commission.

Why Clad

We are in the early innings of a generational upgrade to our country’s infrastructure.

Against the backdrop of enormous demand from AI (data centers, power transmission), expanding renwable energy networks, and insatiable demand for internet bandwidth, our country’s builders are racing to keep up.

But there’s a problem - the tools to handle this demand are inadequate.

Most construction software wasn’t built for infrastructure projects, and industry-specific options are either too hard to use or too narrow to have a real impact.

We’re setting out to change this. Our goal - to build the tools to accelerate infrastructure deployment.
