This is a resume-making position, where you’ll learn a lot and have a lot of responsibility. You don’t have to wait for someone to die or retire to move up, like in a mega-corp.
Entrepreneurial to our core – Not only are we a startup, but we need intrapreneurs that will help us scale, and we’re looking to start other sister corps in time to form a portfolio of companies, which you could be a co-founder of.
Vidalytics’ Values
(Yes, We’re Actually Serious About These) 😇
How we do things…
Winning – we’re competitors. We want to win. We do what it takes to win. This means that we will fail, we will lose, but we want to do these things fast… so we can win. Because winning is on the other side of mistakes.
Scrappy – We’re a startup, it’s chaotic. This isn’t the government. You need to be able to learn fast, move fast and handle you need to be able to survive in a scrappy entrepreneur environment. If you want an easy job, go work at the government.
Data – As much as we’re able to, we use data to answer questions, give bonuses and promotions. Not based on politics and titles. But data or not, when a decision is made, it is time to get on board.
How we are more so as iniduals and with each other…
Direct – A shitty company is a political company. A political company is one that doesn't communicate directly. Here you can call out anyone. Argue for your ideas. Even against the CEO. Otherwise, we will fail all the while pretending to be nice and not saying what we mean. Just be sure to attack issues and not people. ;)
Transparency – Secrets bred politics and resentments. Just being straight up improves team communication and the health of our culture.
Solid – We can trust you and you can trust us. You do what you say. And own what you’ve done. Mistakes happen. But the worst thing that can happen is when someone doesn’t own and learn from them.
Growth – You’re either growing or dying. This is a place for hyper learning. We’re scaling. You need to scale w/ us. This means being…
Emotionally intelligent
Conscious of yourself and others and reality

UMA and Across are decentralized protocols governed by community members across the globe in DAOs, and are supported by Risk Labs Foundation. You will be responsible for the core protocol and offchain infrastructure of Across’ frontier intents-based system, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and meets the evolving needs of the holistic product. As such, you will have heavy influence over the protocol’s strategic development, architecture, and the aligned integration within the broader Ethereum, L2 and L1 ecosystems.

Responsibilities
- Protocol Strategy: Own the roadmap for the protocol team. Develop and defend strong opinions on what is important, balancing the needs of internal teams, adjacent product verticals, external partners, and the long-term health of the protocol.
- Architectural and Mechanism Design: Critically assess and make informed decisions on core areas of the protocol such as intent mechanism design, the evolution of our solver network, and innovations in intent auctions.
- Execution and Delivery: Own product development from conception to launch. This includes writing detailed and technical PRDs, managing a backlog, and making decisive priority calls between new features, architectural improvements, and technical debt.
- Ecosystem Collaboration: Work closely with key partners and initiatives within the Ethereum ecosystem, such as the Open Intents Framework and ERC-7683. You will be responsible for understanding and owning how these standards and frameworks should influence our protocol’s evolution.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, business development, and marketing to ensure the protocol roadmap is aligned with the broader company and product objectives and market needs.
- Data-Informed Decisions: Gather and analyze data on protocol performance, solver behavior, and market trends to inform your product strategy and justify your roadmap decisions.

Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a significant portion focused on technical or platform products.
- Deeply Technical: You must have a strong technical background and be comfortable discussing smart contract architecture, protocol-level mechanisms, and the trade-offs inherent in decentralized systems.

- Execution-Oriented: A demonstrated ability to take ideas and turn them into shipped products. You are a pragmatist who knows how to get things done in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strategic Thinker: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to form strong, well-reasoned opinions and the humility to update them with new information.
- Passion for the future of interoperability and a desire to be at the forefront of innovation in the space.
Compensation and Benefits
- Risk Labs’ pay packages include competitive salaries & substantial token options.
- Salaries are typically between $100-200k (USD), and your token allocation can grow with your voting rewards while you participate in the growing ecosystem.

- We are a globally distributed team and require all employees to have at least 3-4 hours of daily overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST) to ensure seamless collaboration and communication. This allows us to work effectively across time zones while maintaining a strong team connection

We take pride in the fact that we are at once family-friendly as well as nomad-friendly.
UMA’s optimistic oracle is a decentralized truth machine for Web3- yes, that’s a bold and very exciting statement. We’ve built a solid foundation, in terms of the team, the technology, and the products, and the road map ahead is one full of exciting technical challenges, growth, and telling our story to the world. Across is creating an interoperable world where DeFi is seamless with its intents based architecture. We’ve grown from an early bridge, to a market leader, and won’t stop innovating and building. We are seeking a technical and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager with a track record of success in product management for Prosumer, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Legal Tech, Reg Tech and/or Consumer Data products.
Optery’s product is sold to iniduals, families, small and medium sized businesses, large enterprises, and state, local, and federal government agencies and departments. In this respect, it is similar to companies like LastPass, DropBox, and McAfee in that it is sold both to iniduals directly, and to businesses for distribution to employees. Optery maintains four primary application interfaces, its consumer facing application (https://app.optery.com/signup), its business admin facing application (https://business.optery.com/signup), its API (http://www.optery.com/api), and it’s backend workflows for employees and contractors.
Optery’s core data removal functionality processes Data Subject Requests (a.k.a. DSRs) for its customers to manage their data privacy preferences at data broker companies. Put differently, Optery delivers, manages and fulfills opt out and data deletion requests for its customers at data brokers.
Our business benefits from the growing number of consumer data privacy laws, and our software puts the data privacy rights granted in these laws to work for our customers, e.g. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc. Optery also offers a free tier with self-service tools for users to submit and manage their own data privacy rights requests.
Optery is seeking a versatile Senior Product Manager with a track record of success to help drive the development of Optery’s product and platform. You will report to Optery’s CEO and CTO, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, design, legal, customer operations, sales, customer success, customer support and executive leadership to align product development with company objectives and drive measurable results.
You need to be equally comfortable generating product requirements, creating wireframes for new product functionality, getting into the weeds with engineers on how the product works at a very granular level, providing feedback to engineers, testing, QA-ing and debugging, documenting new features, researching the industry landscape, and formulating a strong point of view for the product roadmap. The role requires outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a well-rounded cross functional skill set.
We will geek out together launching new products, features and functionality that eradicates consumer data from data broker platforms using new and clever approaches.
