We’re looking for a Technical Lead Developer to be part of making that happen.  About the RoleWe are seeking a highly talented Lead Core Platform Services Developer who will focus on the development of features and services for a newly created team that is consolidating common services, reducing duplication and accelerating downstream R&D teams. You will be a key member of the Core Platform Services team that is responsible for the Access Management Platform (identity, authentication and authorization of users) and the Content Distribution Platform (tracking, storage and distribution of data). These platforms are critical for Arctic Wolf Networks to deliver world-class security operations at scale to global customers. You will be working as a Lead Developer to deliver these critical platforms to keep our customers safe and informed.A lead developer is responsible for providing the team technical direction to deliver high value, performant software solutions. The lead developer will provide technical guidance and direction to a team of developers through the design, implementation and automated/integration testing of our software. They will also provide guidance on best practices for running, monitoring, and maintaining our system.Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will be:· Influence the work of team members, and mentor emerging technical leaders.· Demonstrate advanced, wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts and company objectives to develop, resolve complex models and procedures.· Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways.· Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas.· Architect and develop well-designed, testable, efficient, secure code.· Understand and work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.· Contribute to the growth and mentorship of other team members.· Develop trusted cross-team relationships to deliver solutions that span multiple areas of expertise.We value a culture of sharing, so every team has the opportunity to share their work with the entire department during our monthly R&D Demos. Once a year we hold a department-wide Hackathon, teaming up across all R&D teams over four days to collaborate and build cool ideas outside the normal project scope. While innovation is the focus, some of these ideas do make it into our products.About YouYou’re an experienced software developer who has the ability to perform programming tasks and large engineering projects with independence and expertise. With the responsibility of the end-to-end delivery of projects, you are responsible for guiding and mentoring other staff members, and regularly lead technical projects. You demonstrate mastery over software development practices, and easily develop reusable design patterns. You easily enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion, adapting your style to differing audiences and often advising others on difficult matters.Here are some of the core technologies we use and teach across our teams. You should have experience in one or more of these, or similar technologies:· Golang· Java· Kafka· AWS· Git· Docker· KubernetesYou have a history of delivering successful projects, as well as some lessons learned from failures.
