About the role:

Okay, we’ve waffled long enough. So let’s get to the good bit: You.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, independent and commercially savvy Ecommerce Associate Manager to support the growth within the US business focusing on our direct to consumer e-commerce platform: elvie.com

The role sits in the US Marketing team, specifically Digital Marketing, reporting into the Senior Digital Marketing and D2C Manager, whilst also working closely with the Central Marketing teams (Digital, Insights, Brand, Creative) as key stakeholders as well as our Digital media agency to drive best-in class customer experience on elvie.com. .

This role is pivotal for driving the ongoing improvements and optimizations to our site, helping deliver our direct business goals for 2022 and beyond. You will be responsible for updating the US site, executing and reporting  A/B  tests, using available customer data insights to understand what works best and continuously optimise the user journey.  You will work closely with Creative and Brand, Digital Marketing and Dev teams to contribute to the creation of the testing strategy that adds significant value by aligning the Elvie Direct experience to the changing needs of our customers.

It's important that you have a great work ethic, a down to earth manner and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will need to be confident working at a fast pace, across a wide array of projects, love a challenge and be comfortable utilizing the support of the team.

Location: remote. East Coast preferred.

Employment type: Permanent (please note, you must have the right to work in the USA)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update elvie.com (US) - setting up and managing creative assets across the site, including Homepage, Product Pages, Category pages… as well as promotions and product launches
  • Work closely with creative and marketing teams to develop digital creative for website
  • Working with the Central Digital and Insights team you will contribute to devising and the development of the testing framework.
  • Ensure accuracy of all creative assets and tracking for actionable reporting
  • Leverage web analytics to understand performance of customer interaction with site content to identify business opportunities and drive site enhancements
  • Design, QA, build, and launch of test optimization campaigns, through to reporting and interpretation analysis of the impact from a commercial perspective (support of digital agency)
  • Ensure clear test hypotheses and success metrics are developed with stakeholders based on testing requirements:
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Aptitude for data analysis
    • Strong project management, organizational and planning skills

Requirements

    • 2 – 4 years’ experience in e-commerce/site merchandising and good understanding of user journeys, digital usability, and user experience
    • Deep understanding and experience with statistics, web analytics, data analysis, and conversion optimization (Google Analytics expertise a must)
    • Strong awareness and understanding of optimization best practice, digital trends and ability to leverage new conversion tools as they become available
    • Experience managing and setting up test (using Google Optimize, or other)
    • CMS experience
    • Experience in working across creative design and technical development teams to deliver optimization campaigns
    • Digital content creation is a bonus (SEO-optimized copywriting, image resizing, etc)
    • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize work and time effectively.
    • Develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
    • A positive, enthusiastic, "hands on" attitude with a strong desire to succeed
