Our focus on web development enables us to develop deep expertise in Drupal, Magento, and Shopify and to provide top-notch custom solutions for clients. We're looking for an experienced Web Developer to join as our next Team Lead. Team Leads have management experience, communicate effectively, use productive work methods, exercise good judgment, and display the ability to generate strong concepts and apply high-level critical thinking for clients. Sr. Web Developer / SA Responsibilities:

  • Developing custom modules and extensions for Drupal CMS, Shopify, and Magento / Adobe Commerce
  • Integration with various APIs and third-party systems
  • Migrating existing sites to modern platforms
  • Front-end development, including HTML/CSS/Javascript and coding with Twig and PHP-based templates
  • ​​Participate in the business development process to scope, estimate, and write statements of work
  • Triage and debug client issues
  • Collaborate with other developers on the team
  • Prototype solutions for proof of concept

Team Lead Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular, supervisory support for the web developer team to ensure expectations are known (and are being exceeded), deliverables are being met, and team members feel a strong sense of pride and purpose
  • Continue to foster our creative, focused, developer-friendly environment and promote an environment of continuous improvement for all development team members
  • Conduct code reviews and support goals around code consistency, standards of code quality, and documentation
  • Serve as an escalation point for development-related issues
  • Collaboration on scheduling and estimates with developers, Technical PM's, and clients on scoping custom implementations

General Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Developer management experience required
  • Experience with Drupal CMS, Shopify, or Magento Commerce is required
  • Preference for client service environments, such as web development firms, technical support teams, interactive agencies, or graphic design firms
  • Independence, enthusiasm, superb written communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to define, scope and code custom extensions and integrations for our platforms
  • Understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks
  • Experience with API-based development, and integration with 3rd party systems
  • Front-end and standard Internet protocols, cross-browser, XML, HTML, HTTP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), AJAX, and Twig and PHP at the template level are required
  • React, Redux, Knockout, Angular or other JS frameworks are strongly preferred
  • Experience with compiled CSS, using Sass or Less preprocessors
  • Experience developing in local environments and working with source control such as Git
