Judo empowers designers to design and build apps without code.

With Judo's Mac app, designers can build and integrate app UIs into existing apps using the same frameworks as a developer, but through the use of a visual canvas instead of writing code. Judo helps designers fully imagine and envision what's possible, by putting them in the driver's seat and giving them complete control from concept to completion.

The output from Judo is more than a static image and more than a prototype—it is a fully functional UI that is ready to be shipped to users instantly, without having to submit to the App/Play store.

Judo's iOS and Android SDKs are installed in close to 100 different apps reaching millions of users. Some of our customers include DraftKings, Cabela's, Chicago Bulls and New England Patriots.

We're backed by the same group that funded Shippabo, Airtable, LaunchKit and more (TenOneTen and Freestyle VC), a top U.S. accelerator as well as several prominent angel investors. We've built a solid reputation with several major sports franchises as clients, and are now charting new territory as we explore the multitude of other industries who could benefit from incorporating Judo into their native app workflows.

About the role:

Reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer (CPO), Judo's Product Marketer will be responsible for increasing product adoption and marketing qualified leads through compelling messaging and storytelling.

What You'll Do as Judo's Product Marketer:

  • Create and evolve compelling product positioning, messaging, and strategies that support our product-led growth (PLG) efforts
  • Immerse yourself in the intricacies of the product by attending regular meetings with Judo's Senior Product Designer, CPO and CTO
  • Build and execute tactical plans that increase product and feature adoption
  • Become the internal authority on our market segmentation and personas, their specific pain points, goals that we can help them accomplish, and motivations across the customer journey
  • Track usage metrics and analyze data to deeply understand our customer journeys
  • Advocate for our existing and prospective users, be informed about our competitive landscape, and make recommendations based on insights
  • Create and manage strategic product-related campaigns and ensure all product-related communications are of high quality and speak to customer value
  • Work closely with our Marketing and Growth teams to inspire ideas for content and materials that resonate with customers
  • Own communication with customers and prospects surrounding product updates, new features and launches

What we'd love to see in your work history:

  • 3+ years in a Product Marketing role at a startup
  • Experience working with a product to support GTM initiatives
  • Evidence of executing successful product/feature launches
  • Experience working closely with customers and users to understand pain points and opportunities
  • Bonus points if you have an understanding of product-led growth (PLG) strategies

  • You're comfortable with the ambiguity and lack of processes at an early-stage start-up
  • The ability to wear many hats, find ways to bring value and a willingness to do what needs to be done
  • A passion for at least one of design, UX, product development, mobile technologies, or software engineering
  • The ability to use data to identify opportunities and demonstrate results
  • A willingness to immerse yourself deeply in technical topics to learn the intricacies of the product
  • The ability to translate complex product concepts into bite-sized and simplified communications
  • Attention to detail - we'd love to see you mention “Kano Jigoro” in your cover letter
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a “get stuff done” attitude
  • A fierce curiosity for your craft, always striving to learn more and improve yourself

Salary Range:

90K-120K CAD annually
