GCG launched in June 2021 as an underground social club based around membership NFTs but has since evolved into a multifaceted brand with digital media, art, fashion, events, sports, gaming, and charity projects. Through a hyper-engaged community, GCG has become a worldwide name and digital home for all members to connect, create and shape culture together. 

ROLE SUMMARY 

The Marketing Manager at GCG is an experienced marketer who is an expert copywriter and leverages a balance of creative and analytical thinking. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is resourceful in a start-up environment and enjoys wearing many marketing hats, including go-to-market planning, content planning, copywriting, branding, social media, and everything in between. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will develop marketing plans for all GCG products, events, merch, and partnership activations, and will work cross-functionally with Product and Operations to implement these plans. 

**POSITION OVERVIEW

**

  • Build marketing plans and processes in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies and communication plans in conjunction with product and operations teams to understand all the components and ideal user experience for each activation
  • Create all marketing materials, including blog posts, Discord announcements, infographics, website content, and social media content.
  • Manage the creative direction of marketing content, working closely with designers, photographers, videographers, and editors to ensure creative assets are in line with the brand's goals
  • Drive social engagement by managing social media channels daily and engaging with the community
  • Analyze and distill content performance into insights and best practices to improve engagement metrics on all social channels
  • Plan and implement a content strategy that is aligned with the brand's overall strategy
  • Plan and organize all aspects of content creation and delivery using a content planning calendar
  • Provide copy and graphic editing support to UX/UI designers and front-end developers
  • Ensure that all outgoing communication reflects GCG's brand tone and voice and provide guidance to team members about best practices

**QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

**

  • An undergraduate degree in business or marketing is preferred
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a marketing position, ideally within a start-up 
  • An experienced copywriter with expert knowledge of written communication styles and proper grammar usage
  • An understanding of how to use a range of marketing tools to tell a compelling and cohesive story about a brand
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms as well as Sprout Social and WordPress
  • A detail-oriented inidual with a high level of self-motivation
  • Experience with Web3 and NFT is preferred, in addition to the ability to explain basic Web 3.0 and NFT concepts in simple, consumer-facing terms
  • A proven track record of meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills.A strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient in the use of Google Suite or other related software.
  • Foresee potential obstacles well in advance and problem-solving to ensure proper execution of campaigns
  • Communication skills are excellent in writing, speaking, and interacting with others.
