Leadtail is a fully-remote B2B social media agency headquartered in Portland, OR.

 

Account Managers are the front line of communication and coordination with Leadtail clients. They represent Leadtail with our clients, and also advocate for clients’ needs within the Leadtail team. They are responsible for creating and maintaining an account plan, running client meetings, handling day-to-day client communications, and completing and/or ensuring the completion of all tasks required to support their assigned clients’ account plans and goals.

 

Our emphasis is on organic social, influencer and account-based outreach, and employee advocacy. We do a small amount of paid social.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (B2B marketing, customer success, account management, project management, social media or similar)
  • Active presence on LinkedIn and/or Twitter (at a minimum); work with Facebook/Instagram/YouTube/TikTok only is not sufficient for this role
  • Ability to work primarily during West Coast business hours
  • Available to start work in October

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Social Media strategy recommendations based on the client’s objectives and Leadtail’s frameworks and best practices
  • Handle day-to-day communications with client contacts via email, Slack, Wrike, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain clients’ social editorial calendar in Sprout Social
  • Monitor clients’ social media feeds and take action on items based on Leadtail guidelines and best practices
  • Create social media posts on the fly, as needed, to support clients
  • Prepare weekly call agenda and accompanying slides
  • Maintain weekly call notes and follow up on action items
  • Monitor clients' social media performance metrics and tune team activities to achieve account goals
  • Capture and prioritize client requests and Leadtail commitments
  • Submit requests to other Leadtail teams as needed to complete client tasks
  • Review, edit, and approve/accept work products from other teams (e.g. video edits, social copy, ad campaigns)
  • Track all requests to timely completion
  • Create processes, workflows, and templates to address emerging client needs
  • Onboard and provision new client accounts
  • Organize outreach campaigns supporting influencer marketing and account based marketing initiatives
  • Provide supervision and coaching to junior team members as needed

 

Bonus points:

  • Domain experience in B2B, technology, and venture-backed startups
  • Experience with open source software communities and developers
  • Familiarity with database systems, software development, and/or cloud infrastructure
  • Hands on setup and execution of Linkedin, Twitter, and/or Facebook ads
  • Enthusiasm for and interest in online culture

 

Pay and benefits:

  • Starting hourly rate for this position is $30-35/hr
  • We typically do comp reviews and adjustments 1-2 times per year
  • We currently do not offer group health insurance plans
  • Upon successful completion of a 60-day probationary period, we offer W-2 employees:
    • PTO accrual at the rate of 1hr PTO for every 30hrs worked
    • A $250/mo remote work stipend (full time W-2 employees only)
  • Leadtail is a 100% remote-by-design company and plans to remain so
