Title: Web Optimization Assistant Manager

This role will be responsible for assisting with and leading the plan and strategy for creating and developing amazing web experiences across our Luxury wine brand websites. This will include developing best-in-class experiences, strategy and planning, web merchandising, A/B testing, and campaigns. You will be responsible for optimizing our online experiences, developing promotions, and improving UX through experimentation for various Luxury wine brand websites. This includes working with brand and tasting room teams directly in providing data driven recommendations to help ensure a great consumer journey. You will also report on key KPI’s and growth metrics against e-commerce and tasting room goals. Lastly, you will partner with cross functional teams to make sure programs come to life consistent across our other platforms.

What You Will Do:

  • Supports and executes eCommerce merchandising goals and strategies to achieve e-commerce and tasting room KPI’s.
  • Will work with brand and tasting room teams directly to provide the strategy and recommendations to meet Website KPIs.
  • Drives A/B tests designed to improve customer experience and meet e-commerce KPI’s.
  • Delivers regular performance reporting based on campaigns, promotions, and UX execution.
  • Executes merchandising, promotion, and campaign efforts within SFCC and works to resolve and address issues.
  • Supports e-comm business level web experience improvements to improve UX team KPIs.
  • Participates in stakeholder meetings as needed.
  • Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to improve website and platform experiences with brand and business teams.
  • Consults and advises with web merchandising team on best practices for leveraging Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Leads recommendation for new landing page development and partners with business teams to optimize and improve on high traffic and priority pages.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; directs the work of other staff members as assigned.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of digital, online/web marketing or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of Gallo Marketing or IT experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of digital, online/web marketing or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with content management systems.
  • Experience in website CRO.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and e-commerce reporting.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of web marketing and e-commerce growth experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience within Salesforce systems (Commerce and/or Marketing Cloud)
  • B2C e-commerce experience.
  • Proficient in Google analytics and e-commerce business measurement.
  • Solid understanding of SEO tagging and architecture

Compensation

  • Hiring Salary Range: $77,400 – $116,000
  • Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
