Role and Responsibilities:

As a Solidity Developer at Usual, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure that power our stablecoin protocol. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and implementing secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity, tailored to our stablecoin protocol.
  • Collaborating with our tech team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our stablecoin protocol.
  • Conducting code reviews and maintaining high code quality to meet our coding standards.
  • Contributing to the design and optimization of our blockchain infrastructure specifically for our stablecoin protocol.
  • Developing comprehensive unit tests and participating in the creation of a robust testing framework.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate our stablecoin protocol into our larger product ecosystem.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in solidity development and blockchain technology, applying them to enhance our stablecoin protocol.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:

  • 2-3 years or plus of hands-on experience in Solidity programming, particularly in developing smart contracts related to stablecoin protocols.
  • Strong understanding of smart contract development principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the Ethereum platform and decentralized systems, with a focus on their application within stablecoin protocols.
  • Knowledge of blockchain tools and libraries such as Foundry, OpenZeppelin, Tenderly, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for continuous learning and keeping up with the latest developments in blockchain and solidity.
