i360 has immediate openings for an R12 Oracle EBS Application Developer to implement Oracle Federal Financials R12 for a federal agency. The successful candidate should have seven (7) years of experience in federal financial applications and process development with Oracle EBS R12.2.x. with hands-on experience with technical design and development of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW) objects and components within Oracle EBS related to modules Federal Financials like P2P, B2R, Projects, and A2R. This role is remote – the work site will be in Gaithersburg, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development in Oracle EBS R12 (12.1.x and/or 12.2.x) in a full life-cycle implementation environment
  • Perform the detailed design of complex applications in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) for financial modules by troubleshooting and customizing technical architecture components
  • Develop technical specifications and support customizations to make sure that the custom components meet application requirements and performance goals
  • Analyze business and functional requirements to determine appropriate technical solutions
  • Primarily responsible for the technical design and development of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW) objects and components within Oracle EBS related to modules such as Federal Financials, Projects, Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, and Fixed Assets
  • Assists in the development of application user support documentation such as user guides, training materials
  • Participate in the testing phase to fix any defects and performance problems and conduct complete technical reviews, support code migration, and provide technical artifacts
  • Assist in preparing work tasks, task duration estimates, and schedules
  • Provide problem analysis/diagnosis/resolution, implementation, and post-implementation support

Requirements

  • 7 years of development experience within the Oracle R12 applications, building interfaces using web services, data conversions, and application extensions.
  • Knowledge in EBS foundation (FND) modules including, but not limited to, Application Object Library (AOL), Concurrent Programs/Executables, Value Sets, Flexfields, Workflow, and underlying packages.
  • Proficient in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Forms, Reports, BI (XML) Publisher, SQL Loader, and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
  • Must understand Oracle Applications table structure and APIs.
  • Must have the ability to write complex stored procedures/triggers, functions, and packages utilizing standard Oracle EBS APIs.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and processes
  • Experience documenting design, code, testing
  • Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and conducting code reviews Oracle Federal Financials project experience is a plus
  • Experience with a shared service provider is a plus
  • Experience with project implementation life-cycle
  • Experience developing within service-oriented architectures (SOA) using web services is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
  • Demonstrated prior experience managing, and supporting the implementation of Oracle Federal
  • Financials on a federal project.
  • Must have 7 years of knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials Applications ERP PL/SQL Development
  • Demonstrated experience in Oracle R12 and SOA/Web Services development
  • Familiarity with Federal application architecture policies and guidelines is a plus
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to complete a federal background investigation
