Account Manager (Remote - United States)

The Group Greeting team is looking for a hardworking, proactive, resourceful Account Manager to support our growth efforts. In this full-time remote role, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing company. The expectation is to meet/exceed quarterly revenue targets within your account base through growing renewals, expanding install base with new and existing use cases, closing net new business, and pipeline generation with the Sales Director. Candidate needs 2+ years of strategic account experience. Our ideal candidate is someone who is customer focused and has a proven track record of account management success. Being a remote-first company, we value trust, communication, initiative and autonomy.

What You'll Do

  • Drive and close renewal opportunities for our annual plan holders.
  • Nurture and grow our key accounts by managing communication with key stakeholders.
  • You will help define the account strategy, account mappings and drive business reviews with our customers' top decision makers to make sure GroupGreeting is top of mind for them to meet their needs.
  • You will identify when customers are at risk or in a change phase and define the best action plan together with the Sales Director to make sure your customer will renew.
  • You will manage and track your pipeline of renewals and upsells for your customers to increase our AAP (Average Annual Plan) and increase our overall renewal rate %.
  • Assist customers in understanding GroupGreeting solutions, configuration, environment, and how we fit within their current infrastructure and business processes.
  • Build a pipeline of all opportunities through managed accounts, new leads, and campaigns. Update on a weekly basis.
  • Become a thought leader in defining success criteria and understand business needs of our customers in an ever-changing business environment.
  • Partner with various cross functional teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth in our existing user base.
  • Analyze industry trends, diagnose root cause of poor engagement and create actionable plans for operational improvements within accounts.
  • Conduct deep e analysis on issues affecting plan holder usage, and build relationships across accounts to help generate enthusiasm and engagement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GroupGreeting’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills
  • 3+ years professional selling or account management experience
  • Work experience preferably in the eCommerce, employee recognition, on-line advertising, retail technology, or SaaS company
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience )
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required
  • Proven ability to influence others
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Candidate must possess demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills
  • Experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
