The Future of Commerce Is Collaborative.

We are the infrastructure for collaborative, inclusive and equitable commerce; combining the physical and digital world seamlessly. Decommerce is a protocol that enables brands to send marketing funds directly to their communities, instead of big tech companies. Decommerce dApps enable brands to engage, co-create with and compensate their consumers for contributions directly on their existing web shop stack.

We are looking for our Head of Community to spread the word, build community and manage day-to-day aspects of the Decommerce community leading up to the public token listing and beyond.

The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, organized, adaptive, and reliable, a master of Crypto Twitter and Discord, with outstanding communication skills, a knack for developing personal relationships, and proven experience building web3 communities.

Your responsibility: community

  • Define and execute on the $DECOM community strategy with the leadership team across all channels, including realistic yet ambitious KPIs
  • Build, maintain and promote a vibrant community culture on Discord and other community channels
  • Compile regular digests of Decommerce updates and other news relevant to pre-public markets, and communicate these to our community via all channels, e.g. Discord, Twitter, $DECOM community forum, mailing list, and other social media channels
  • Continuously monitor our social media channels, and engage meaningfully with both our community and the wider crypto community as a representative of Decommerce
  • Act as a bridge to relay back critical feedback and pain points back to the team
  • Provide insights and guidance to the leadership team on market development, community requirements, and competitive analysis
  • Actively seek out and organize potential community building opportunities, including collaborations, features in media outlets, speaking opportunities, and advertising opportunities, and maintain these relationships
  • Organize and host regular community calls and other community events
  • Represent Decommerce at virtual and in-person conferences and hackathons
  • Manage a monthly marketing budget
  • Plan, execute, and iterate upon community engagement/growth campaigns with an experimental and analytical approach
  • Help scale and manage a team of community moderators and managers

  • Eagerness and openness to building something radically new
  • Hands-on experience and a keen interest in the web3 and crypto industry
  • Hands-on experience and track record of generating cross-channel community growth
  • Hands-on experience with cross-channel marketing and the latest trends in advertising
  • Hands-on experience in delivering on growth targets and handling marketing budgets
  • In-depth knowledge of the landscape, trends, and players in the web3 and/or e-commerce industry
