Sr. Mobile Applications Developer (iOS) – Remote

MINT MOBILE is seeking a talented Sr. Mobile Applications Developer to join the Engineering Team! Inidual reports to Sr. Director, Engineering. Role is remote; must reside in the United States.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with multiple teams and departments
  • Take ownership and ensure the start-to-finish delivery of projects
  • Rally fellow engineers towards a common vision
  • Responsible for understanding and integrating with our microservice back-end system, currently in Node
  • Complete understanding of SOA architecture, related patterns, and best practices
  • Advocate of Engineering Best Practices: Unit Testing, Behavior Driven Development, Test Driven Development
  • Apply your years of experience working hands on with either Swift or Kotlin, in a rapid paced app software development environment
  • Recommend and lead best practices app development across multiple platforms
  • Responsible for implementation across multiple systems/languages / environments in parallel

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor‘s degree in computer science or equivalent degree
  • 8+ years of experience in the field
  • Strong skills in software pattern and software design
  • Strong skills in understanding SDLC processes and helping extend SDLC
  • Strong skills in either Kotlin or Swift
  • Strong skills in Node.JS and RESTful
  • Strong skills in Unit Testing and BDD
  • Strong skills in messaging middleware
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum, and Agile and Scrum related tools
  • Ability to be assigned a problem and take ownership with minimal guidance
