Mission:

In this role you will develop, execute and oversee marketing plans, influencer strategy and engagement and project & agency management to build and grow the most coveted portfolio of premium spirits brands in the US.

Keys to Success:

A cooperative and positive mindset with key stakeholders is critical for the success of this role. Key stakeholders include those in the Montenegro Americas organization and the Gallo Spirits marketing team. Cooperation and collaboration with colleagues on the international team in Italy is fundamental. The position reports to the US Managing Director.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an omnichannel 24-month marketing plan within budget that achieves measurable ROI and sustainable growth
  • Execute against the U.S. marketing plan within budget and achieving agreed upon KPIs which drive sustainable growth
  • Contribute to the U.S. volume, share and profit objectives
  • Build, lead, and motivate the US Marketing team, championing a consumer and trade-centric mindset
  • Develop and manage agency and content creator relationships while holding them accountable for agreed upon KPIs
  • Work with the Director of Outreach & Engagement, Director of Business Development and Portfolio Managers to develop and deliver effective POS and activation strategies that grow the brand both on and off-premise
  • Understand the constantly evolving digital landscape and work directly with the Digital Commerce Director to keep the brand vision at the forefront of all platforms, content, and advertising
  • Establish a collaborative environment amongst International, Local and Division Marketing teams to ensure relevance of our programs, to support best practice sharing and to drive efficiency in marketing execution
  • Partner with Portfolio and Finance teams to deliver against key planning milestones, including Annual Budget and Latest Estimate reviews
  • Contribute to company’s corporate social responsibility agenda and incorporate into brand plans and communications

Profile details:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in the spirit industry in the USA
  • In depth knowledge and experience with different online marketing tools, channels, and best practices
  • Proven track record of digital marketing and three-tier e-commerce successes
  • Ability to bring new and fresh thinking
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong skills in analytics and developing reporting models
  • Strategic thinking: ability to craft the brief, lead ideation sessions, and strategically direct the work
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well
