We are looking for an energetic and ambitious sales executive to join our team.

Reporting to our Head of Delegate Sales, you will be responsible for selling participation packages to potential prospects that would like to participate in our conferences and enter in any of the emerging markets we represent.

Responsibilities

  • Owning a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Handle inbound enquiries and turning them into sales
  • Spend significant time over the phone every week
  • Speaking with new clients and nurturing relationships with existing ones.
  • Handle your own pipeline and keep an updated record of your activities in our CRM

The ideal candidate would have

  • High-achieving attitude who can work effectively within a team;
  • Excellent adaptability to an international environment with a wide exposure to various cultures and customs;
  • Strong record of revenue generation and overachieving sales targets
  • Ambitious, results-driven, competitive, self-starter;
  • A highly independent and vivacious personality;

  • Excellent with meeting demanding deadlines and working in a quickly paced environment

Required qualifications and experience

  • BA or MA with sound knowledge of international politics, economics, business management, marketing or communications*
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in sales, with a proven track record of closing opportunities autonomously
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish (with additional languages such as Portuguese or French as a major plus)
  • Experience in attending conferences and other Public Relations events
  • Knowledge in Energy and/ or Oil and Gas is a plus
