Ambassador Labs is backed by top investors including Insight Partners, Matrix Partners, Trinity Ventures, and Four Rivers Group.    Reporting to the VP Sales, the Sales Engineering Manager will be driving technical engagement and adoption of the Ambassador Labs’ solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and adoption roadmap for our customers. This includes both sales engineers and customer success engineers.

  • Manage, hire and scale a team of sales engineers and customer success engineers
  • Build and iterate the sales engineering playbook and teach members of our sales, sales engineering, and customer success teams in the process
  • Work with sales and company leadership to identify areas of improvement in our sales process
  • Become an expert in Ambassador Labs’ product and technology stack
  • Work closely with prospective customers to clearly communicate and demonstrate value proposition
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and UX on prioritization of feature creation and development based on business requirements and pain points identified with users
  • Drive post-sales onboarding and nurture motions to drive adoption and consumption of Ambassador’s products
  • Be the voice of our customers

< class="h3">About You
  • 5+ years of pre/post sales management experience leading a team of technical field engineers
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of growing pre sales engineers.
  • You’ve supported and sold highly technical products to users
  • Experience with solution architecture - creating defined processes, guidelines and best practices
  • Have a firm grasp of the customer journey, from trial to adoption.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
