We are a Series C-funded logistic technology company that has increased our revenue by 200% year over year, led by a leadership team of logistics veterans and experienced engineers, product leaders and data scientists continuing to disrupt this $800 billion industry.    In this newly created inidual contributor position, you will partner with clients and identify solutions to provide technical leadership to their business challenges through a consultative sales approach.  You’re a trusted advisor, curious, driven and a true optimist who is adept at building rapport with both prospects and clients. We are the leader in the industry but know we need to keep our foot on the gas to keep winning; thus we need a SaaS Sales Engineer with a strong sense of urgency to achieve their mission while having fun along the way!     REPORTING TO: Nate Allan, Sr. Director of Digital Sales LOCATION:  US Remote

< class="h3">What you get to do:
  • Own the technical sales process in support of selling Loadsmart’s offering to large enterprises.
  • Serve as the SME to prospects and customers identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Provide technical and engineering expertise to IT professionals by answering questions regarding integrations, data and API.
  • Demonstrate products and work with product development to provide feedback and requirements from customers, serves as customer advocate on product roadmap and new feature requests.
  • Collaborate in establishing new accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call meeting.
  • Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Capture customer’s tech stack and requirements.
  • Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Travel periodically based upon customer and business needs

< class="h3">Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years of experience as a Sales Engineer in Logistics/Supply Chain industry.
  • Experience working in fast-paced high growth software company with constant change.
  • BA/BS degree required with concentration in CS or business administration preferred. 
  • Leveraging sales productivity similar to Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (this is our current stack).
