WeatherWorks is a rapidly growing meteorological consulting firm with an extensive portfolio of software applications.  Our products aim to deliver customized weather data ranging from decades of historical precipitation to forecasts several months into the future.  To meet the growing demand of high-quality weather data in numerous industries, we’re looking for a motivated Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our close-knit engineering team.  This position will require a versatile candidate that is able to e into multiple projects, from front-end development in React to back-end development with Node.js and TypeScript, touching features from account management to the manipulation and display of meteorological data on a web site.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality code to solve business problems across our software platform
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to elicit clarity in technical design
  • Support other engineering team members, responding to and asking for help when needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js and React
  • 2+ years of experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with SQL

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Python & PHP
  • Experience with data pipelines and Apache Airflow 
  • Working knowledge of AWS services (ECS, SQS, S3)
  • Interest in meteorology

Salary Range and Benefits

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Salary range: $75,000 - 90,000 per year
