We are looking for an experienced Salesforce (CPQ) Quality Assurance Lead to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the QA efforts for our Salesforce applications including Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ, from the lead to quote as well as all related integrations. The Salesforce (CPQ) QA Lead ensures that the system accurately converts leads, closes opps, creates quotes, calculates prices, discounts, and other financial information, and to reduce the risk of auditing issues or errors. They will work closely with our development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software, and drive the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ applications including but not limited to complex lead to quote scenarios and its related integrations.
  • Validate against regulatory requirements to ensure that the Salesforce CPQ system is compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements such as accounting standards, tax laws, and pricing regulations
  • Validate the Salesforce CPQ system against these requirements to ensure that it is accurately calculating prices, taxes, and discounts
  • Perform functional, regression, integration and performance testing to identify defects and ensure the application meets our high standards for quality.
  • Develop and implement automation testing frameworks to reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Create and maintain test data and test environments to support testing efforts.
  • Establish and maintain testing metrics and KPIs, and communicate progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain testing standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure testing timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ testing and quality assurance.

What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce testing and quality assurance including in Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ, with 2+ years in a lead or management role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development, configuration, and customization.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools such as Gearset or Copado.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I are a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for startup culture and learning fast!

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce DevOps experience is a huge plus including design and implement DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Monitor and maintain Salesforce system health and performance
  • Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools, such as Salesforce DX and Gearset
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Salesforce processes, procedures, and configurations
  • Stay up to date with emerging Salesforce DevOps technologies and trends

#LI-Remote

The base salary range for this role is targeted at $136,000 – $204,000 in Colorado, $140,600 – $184,000 in Washington, and $151,000 – $204,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Please note that this information is only provided publicly for candidates in California, Colorado, New York and Washington, but the role is open to candidates outside of those locations as well.
