For our growing subsidiary based in Bucharest, Romania we are currently hiring an ONLINE SALES MANAGER, direct reporting to Managing Director.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the customers in the defined task area with the aim of increasing turnover and margin across Kärchers entire product range (retail and professional products).
  • Prepare and negotiate local contracts.
  • Responsible for a successful implementation of the defined key actions to achieve the online channel sales targets (for example: reduce out of stock situation, increase traffic through SEO optimized content and performance marketing campaigns, increase conversion through enhanced product content and deals).
  • Professional management of the cross-functional e-commerce specialists (e.g. sales, marketing, logistics, finance, data) and oversee their daily activities.
  • Establish a strategic partnership with the key accounts (connect Kärcher e-commerce specialists with specialists at customers site).
  • Drive the change of the status quo in order to guarantee efficient processes and successful results.
  • Regular reporting of KPIs to online channel director and/or local managing director.
  • Identify and develop new customers in the channel.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage and further develop all eCommerce channels: Webshop, Online stores pure players and Marketplaces, both B2C and B2B
  • Develop and execute Online Sales Channel strategy in conjunction with company global and local commercial strategy
  • Ensure a very good market coverage of our product portfolio in online platforms
  • Contract and agreements negotiation
  • Yearly business planning and execution with strategic clients to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Build and consolidate business partnerships
  • Design and develop marketing plans and calendars in coordination with Marketing team to Ensure brand visibility in the channel and drive sales
  • Making sales planning and forecast to ensure product availability
  • Market monitoring

To be successful, you need to have:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing eCommerce channels
  • Experience in commercial roles with the ability to develop a portfolio of clients
  • Affinity with digital/performance marketing tools
  • Customer centric approach
  • Consumer Goods industry with a global brand
  • Analytical skills
  • University degree
  • Fluency in English
