Account Manager

*This is a remote position, but we are currently only able to hire within the U.S.

Leading digital media agency is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Account Manager who can execute, manage and optimize client campaigns. The Account Manager will work on a dedicated team and will be responsible for managing the strategic components of integrated Local Listing/Local SEO campaigns for their clientele.

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with direct client communication. Experience with local SEO and/or local listings is a major plus.

Expected Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 annually depending on experience.

Position Overview

Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert for local listing management and local SEO:

  • Create, manage, and analyze Local Listing campaigns across multiple search engines and directories to ensure goals are met.
  • Responsible for tactical management of local listing SEO campaigns via Location3’s LOCALACT digital marketing platform
  • Research, collect, and analyze data to report on successes and actionable opportunities for local listing programs.
  • Develop and test new campaigns to better target users and improve overall ROI.
  • Follow and analyze continual changes in algorithms while researching relevant industry news sources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with client communication and presentations (phone call, email, face-to-face)
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables and vlookup)
  • Enthusiasm for the digital marketing industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others and maintain a degree of autonomy
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics

Preferred

  • Experience with Google My Business, Facebook Business Manager, Bing Places and other local search directories
  • Agency experience / multiple client management environment
  • Familiarity with SaaS technology/platforms
  • In depth local map/business listing experience
  • Experience with local citations
  • Experience with keyword research
  • Google Analytics Certification
