We’re Craze — a full-stack agency that tackles all things marketing and growth for our clients. We’re a nimble team that excels at ongoing marketing management that builds business and meets any challenge clients throw at us. That includes strategy, content creation and execution, social media management, copywriting, SEO, paid ads, and business development. Like we said, any challenge.

Our content needs have expanded over the last year, and we’re currently hiring our very first content lead. We’re producing an increasing amount of content in-house, and we’d like a dedicated employee to take charge of our content production by ensuring quality and consistency across everything we produce. We already work with a number of fantastic content writers, so you’ll be well-supported in producing content — but you’ll be leading and growing our content department over the coming months.

Content lead responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of freelance/contract writers in producing a range of short and long-form content, including social media captions, video scripts, blog posts, e-books, case studies, decks, and website copy. You’ll also contribute to content production as necessary.
  • Liaise with other Craze team members and clients to strategize around short- and long-term content needs and set a direction for any content pieces.
  • Build and manage a team of freelancers and any future team members, including writers and editors, as our content operations expand.
  • Proofread and edit content produced across channels.
  • Provide editorial and creative support to Craze team members.
  • Lead Craze’s own content marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English or related field.
  • 3-4 years agency experience or in a similar role.
  • Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems.
  • Experience with social media management.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
  • Strong leadership qualities.

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Work From Home
  • Free Food & Snacks
  • Stock Option Plan
