Position Summary

Elemeno has established a solid foundation of happy clients who have proven the value of our transformative approach to supporting frontline nurses. Our track record, along with our recent funding, finds us poised for rapid growth. We are seeking the right leader to assemble the people and process to take our sales effort to the next level.

The VP of Sales, reporting directly to our CEO, will be responsible for recruiting, training, and leading a team of high-performing sales executives. You will work with our Marketing team to build awareness and generate “new logo” leads, and with our Client Success team to identify expansion opportunities within our current customers.

You will lead the development of all aspects of our sales strategy: compensation and quota management, sales enablement and support, territory management, buyer identification and targeted sales tactics, etc.

In your first year, in order to meet our growth goals, gain a deep understanding of our unique product offering, and hone our sales approach with our target buyers, the VP of Sales will serve as a player-coach.

Responsibilities

* You will hire, train, support, manage and lead a world class team

* You will design our sales program, including compensation and territory management, that incentivizes achievement of sales goals while fostering a culture of accountability and ethical behavior
* As a player-coach, you will take a hands-on approach to management/deal flow, including shadowing/running sales calls and owning selected larger strategic opportunities.
* Provide sales leadership, strategic direction and coaching to the sales team to maximize their productivity and results.
* Apply processes and technologies to efficiently manage sales opportunities through your team’s funnel to a successful close and achieve revenue targets.
* Foster continuous improvement; ensure that all sales activities are efficient, effective, and scalable.

Minimum Qualifications

* 5+ years experience as a Top Performer or Leader in B2B Sales to hospitals of healthcare software and/or services

* Extensive industry knowledge with a strong understanding of how to sell into hospitals and healthcare systems, specifically with multiple stakeholders
* 2+ years effectively managing direct reports
* Demonstrated sales leadership and operational competencies on how to position company products, programs and/or service offerings, including adding to existing agreements and building strong partnerships with new hospital systems.

We are located in Oakland, CA. This position is remote. Expect 25-50% travel. For San Francisco Bay Area residents, a hybrid office/remote workplace may be available.
