VERB is looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to join our growing SEO team. Are you someone who thinks strategically, has proven tactical SEO experience and thrives on the hands-on experience of SEO implementation? Do you enjoy speaking with clients, presenting SEO strategy and insights that highlight business performance? If so, then why not join one of the most innovative marketing agencies in the tourism and hospitality sector. You’ll collaborate with marketing strategists, writers, social media marketers, user experience experts and creative designers to develop SEO strategies that will increase search visibility for VERB’s clients around the world.

 

< class="h3">What You Will Do
  • Manage the day-to-day activities for multiple SEO retainers, ensuring SEO best practices are followed and SEO tactics are aligned with SEO strategy
  • Use a variety of SEO tactics including on-page, off-page and local SEO to improve our client’s visibility in search results
  • Use a suite of tools for SEO research and monitoring SEO performance
  • Develop actionable SEO insights based on SEO research, content performance analytics, search trends and industry best practices
  • Create and present SEO reports to clients including clearly explaining the rationale for decisions and recommendations
  • Work with other SEO team members to evolve optimization strategies and tactics
  • Review technical SEO issues and implement fixes
  • Ensure SEO retainers stay on budget
  • Work with account managers, content, paid and social teams to provide SEO support during site builds, content creation, social and paid campaigns
  • Mentor and train other SEO team members as needed

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience managing organic and local search efforts for multiple clients (preferably in travel and hospitality)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive maximum organic and local search performance through a variety of SEO tactics including content optimization and outreach campaigns
  • Experience managing SEO for complex websites with CMS’ such as WordPress and Drupal
  • Understands .htaccess, robots.txt, regex, sitemap.xml files, structured data and redirects
  • Knows their way around Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Experience crawling and analyzing websites for technical SEO issues
  • Experience managing GMB listings
  • Has provided SEO guidance on complex site launches, domain consolidations and multi-language/international sites
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Moz, SemRush, AHrefs, Screaming Frog and Deep Crawl
  • Experience with SEO for international and ecommerce sites
  • Is comfortable presenting to clients and to other SEO experts
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Data Studio
  • Comfortable working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously
