The CPQ Lead / Lead is a critical role and will be the primary person responsible for delivering business outcomes. The speed and ease of quoting and closing business is critical for Nextiva and this role will ensure that architecture and solutions will enhance the overall experience. This role will be within the Business Enablement department of IT reporting to the Senior Director of Business Enablement.

This position will be responsible for attaining customer business and technical requirements and architecting a comprehensive solution using industry best practices. In this role you will work as a key part of a dynamic team focused on designing, customizing, and implementing on Oracle CPQ cloud technologies. In addition to implementation, this position involves requirements gathering and creating strategic vision for continued growth. Must have good oral and written communication skills, work in a team environment, enjoy solving complex problems and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, filled with constant change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup CPQ configurator to implement product validation/ configuration rules
  • Setup commerce package design the process workflow
  • Manage integration with 3rd party application
  • Setup the rating engine and implement pricing and discount logic
  • Manage approval engine and approval routing flows
  • Create and manage different versions of the output documents
  • Implement internationalization of the Oracle CPQ
  • Integrate Oracle CPQ with partner portal, Oracle e-commerce engine, Product Data Hub
  • Integrate Oracle CPQ with SFDC using the new package
  • Act as a consultant to the organization and provide the industry best practices and approaches to integration and solving business solutions
  • Develops visually rich and professional conceptual design documents targeted to varying audiences of business and technical aptitude
  • Lead and upgrade the Oracle CPQ platform per Oracle recommendations
  • Educate and introduce new features to customization to the minimal
  • Lead business discussions and evangelize continuous process improvements using standard features
  • Manages customer communications, conflicts, and negotiations related to overall solutions design
  • Conducts solutions presentations and obtains customer acceptance to solution design
  • Validates solutions after built and provides solution walkthrough with customer. Guides customer through solution deployment
  • Document existing processes, document and design new process and communicate to business
  • Create BRD, functional design and technical design documents
  • Manage large and medium scale efforts to application modernization
  • Ability to work with development staff to complete a solution design in a Salesforce environment
  • Plan and execute data load and data conversion activities (e.g., test data)
  • Test functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
  • Lead UAT sessions with business to test solutions configured to get the business approval
  • Maintains/enhances technology expertise, keeping current with evolving systems analysis, programming, and database technologies
  • Develop and coach early career resources and actively work with the leadership to build the CPQ talent and expertise in the organization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 9v years of Implementation experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud Architect/Developer role with strong CRM Background. Total 12+ years of experience
  • Roles & Responsibilities: Architect/Design, Development, and implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud Application
  • Solid understanding of SaaS development processes and methodologies
  • Solid understanding of Oracle CPQ & Salesforce. com data model (including a thorough understanding of object relationships, BML, SOQL, and SOSL), architecture, constraints, governor limits and change management
  • Strong exposure to Oracle CPQ & SFDC architecture and implementation best practices
  • Team player with excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proven experience with the Configuration/Administration of Oracle CPQ Cloud
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple business leaders to complete projects quickly

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in successful software project implementations related to SaaS in Quote to Cash Business scenarios
  • In depth knowledge in Product Configuration & Rules, complex Configurator setups Commerce Process, Complex workflow approval, Document Engine and Pricing functionality of Oracle CPQ Cloud
  • Extensive experience as technical architect in large scale CPQ implementation
  • Experience in customized Oracle Big Machines CPQ Cloud integration with CRM/ERP applications
  • Proven experience on working with BML/BML Functions/BMQL for complex use cases
  • Exposure to Oracle CPQ Cloud Integration using pre-built connectors and point to point integration with CRM (SFDC) and ERP applications (Oracle ERP)
  • Experienced in Bulk Data Upload/Migration Strategy from Legacy System to Oracle CPQ Cloud using Oracle CPQ Cloud APIs
  • Expertise in integration of SFDC with Oracle CPQ Cloud, DocuSign, and third-party cloud applications
  • Experience on JavaScript and CSS for Big machines UI Customization
  • Experience in BML, BMQL and Libraries
  • Experience with Mobile Configuration Layout
  • Experience in deploying Oracle CPQ Cloud on Mobile platform is a plus
  • Proven experience in migrating code between instances
  • Oracle CPQ Yellow & Blue Belt certification is a MUST
  • Experience with Jet UI to enhance customer experience in CPQ
  • Experience with web services and ability to expose CPQ business functionality as web services
  • Knowledge of APTTUS/CONGA platform and ability to integrate CLM with CPQ

Good to Have Skills

  • Salesforce Technologies CPQ Managed Package, Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visual Force, S-Controls, Triggers, Force. com IDE
  • Experience with middleware and web service and understanding of UI/UX and Mobile development

Additional Requirements

  • Should be able to work closely with Business leaders, process owners and SMEs to elicit CPQ business requirements / business processes and articulate to technical specifications
  • Should have Strong CRM functional knowledge of Order Management, Configuration, Pricing and Quoting functionality
  • Should have good knowledge / experience of Agile Project Methodology (Jira and Confluence)
