We're looking for a full-time, remote, detail-oriented, Senior Presentation Designer to join our specialized in-house creative design team servicing one of the top PR firms in the world. Our small-but-mighty team supports our client's new business, corporate communications, and branding efforts. It's a lot of gratifying work and the group you'd be joining is equally fun. 

Two critical details about this role:

  • This position is staffed and managed through our parent company, Fathom Creative, a boutique branding agency. However, as briefly mentioned above, once hired, you’ll be part of a custom-built, in-house team of designers working solely for one of Fathom’s largest clients and their various brands across the healthcare, consumer, tech, and finance industries. This position predominately works on Eastern Standard Time, but we occasionally adjust our hours based on specific project timelines or time zones.

  • We have a variety of project types, but we especially need designers who are experts at turning standard presentations into jaw-dropping visual experiences for high-end pitches. 

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Designer:

  • Design with purpose—understand the content of presentations and marketing materials and utilize best design practices to generate on-brand, creative concepts that inspire action and the client's vision

  • Consult on the visual story and flow of content to create engaging presentations, mock-ups, and brand assets

  • Conceptualize new branding and designs for clients, from startups to Fortune 500's

  • Create data visualizations that are clear and easy to understand, such as infographics, charts, and content/information flows

  • Re-design PowerPoints within clients’ brand guidelines while ensuring the design complements and supports the content/information.

  • Design custom graphics, from icons to illustrations to logos

  • Assist on large-scale projects, including high-visibility conferences

  • Communicate with clients and interpret design feedback

  • Champion best practices and standards for visual design

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies

As a Team Member:

  • This role will report to our Creative Director. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Art Director and fellow designers and, pending the availability & project type, train younger designers.

  • Contribute to our positive, spirited culture and embrace our shared responsibility to maintain Fathom's strong reputation

  • Collaborate with our team to define and implement branded digital solutions for our clients

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 6 -10 years of proven professional graphic design experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced setting

  • Diverse portfolio demonstrating strength in presentation/editorial design, branding, infographic/data visualization, typography, color, and conceptual thinking

  • Mastery of relevant design tools, platforms, and software—Adobe Suite, MS Office, and specifically working with PowerPoint (including knowing the ins and outs of working on shared documents in programs such as MS Sharepoint and Google Slides, etc.)

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and brands simultaneously

  • Ability to quickly think and respond while maintaining attention to detail

  • Flexible. Because we are a small team, our designers are responsible for many jobs. You should feel comfortable jumping between multiple brands and deliverables. Working in an agency can sometimes be unpredictable, so there will be occasional work outside our standard 9-5 hours. These are for emergency, last-minute projects only, and we make sure our team is supported.

  • Perfectionist. While we aim to make everything sparkle, Fathom is in the business of visual communications. Our clients count on us to deliver high-quality designs with precision and attention to detail.

  • Timely. Our designers are trusted to be responsible for their projects and deadlines; your strong performance = Fathom's reputation.

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, etc.

Salary The annual salary for this position will be variable based on experience and location. It will be in the general range of  $65K - $78K with yearly raises and select bonuses.
