The SEO Strategist at Digital Current is a critical subject matter expert for both the company and our clients. You will be responsible for building and owning SEO projects, vendor & partner management. You will need to be highly collaborative with the internal marketing services team, project managers, account managers, strategic partners, and our clients.

 

MarTech Skills/Tools

Hands-on experience in a combination of these or similar tools is required.

  • SEO: (Semrush, Ahrefs, Screamingfrog, BrightEdge, seoClarity, Searchmetrics, Moz, WordPress, Yoast)
  • Site Management & Reporting: (Google Analytics, WordPress, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, HotJar, CrazyEgg, Optimizely, Fullstory, Google Optimize)
  • PPC: (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram)

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ yrs of SEO, PPC, and digital marketing experience.
  • Agency experience required.
  • Subject matter expertise within SEO & SEM/PPC is a critical must-have.
  • Google Analytics, Search Console, Webmaster Tools, SEMRush, AdWords, Ahrefs, and Google Data Studio.
  • Developing client recommendations, SEO technical audits, WP management, site migration projects, content/blog consolidation, and GTM analytics tagging implementations.
  • Ability to support custom client projects across a wide range of industry niches and verticals (not local businesses).
  • Collaborate with account management teams to provide insights on customer performance; revenue growth, and retention opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

 

Desired attributes

  • Highly skilled in areas of technical SEO (on-page & off-site), link building, site migrations, CMS management, and ability to develop client recommendations.
  • The ability to build and manage analytics reporting & data studio dashboards is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of data-driven strategies for SaaS, eCommerce, B2B, B2C, and other industry verticals.
  • Drive testing, reporting, optimization, and analysis on channel performance to identify key levers and opportunities for improvements.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with Google Office products, Google Sheets/Docs expertise, Zoom, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
  • Great collaboration skills with the ability to lead and manage project teams. Effectively leverage team chat and project board tools.
