Sales enablement is a highly collaborative function that is an important driver towards Upwork’s growth and long-term success. As an Associate Manager - Sales Enablement, you’ll be responsible for the tools, processes, and programs that will help our growing sales team be more effective and contribute value to every customer interaction.  You’ll increase marketing’s impact by making sure content resonates with customers and is shared with the right audience at the right time. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, is energized by cross-functional problem solving, and is motivated by data-driven results.  This person will join the Enterprise Marketing team and work closely with our partners across Marketing and Sales. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own administration of sales enablement tools, Highspot and Vidyard, including maintaining and optimizing content through governance protocols and a role-based tool architecture.
  • Manage existing tool vendor relationships, including monthly meetings and roadmap recommendations.
  • Partner closely with Sales Training & Effectiveness team to ensure tool adoption is aligned with content and training programming.
  • Analyze content performance to inform & measure KPIs, determine areas of success and opportunities for improvement, and discover content gaps.
  • Manage content distribution and alignment through sales email sequences and templates.
  • Improve and identify new sales enablement initiatives, including metrics to measure program efficiency and success.

What it takes to catch our eye:

  • 2+ years of sales or marketing experience, preferably at a B2B company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented ness and excellent organizational skills
  • Results-oriented with strong critical & analytical thinking abilities
  • Enjoys forming relationships and working collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a erse, constantly evolving environment!
  • Experience in a training, enablement, or operational support role for a customer-facing team like sales or customer support.
  • Strong work ethic—willing to roll up sleeves and chip in, regardless of the task
  • A natural problem solver -- curious about how things work and how to make them better.
  • Thrives working independently and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical attitude - comfortable using data and insights to inform priorities
  • Previous experience with Outreach.io, Highspot, Vidyard, Postal.iO and Google Suite a plus!
