Christopherson Business Travel, a globally recognized leader in Travel Management is looking for a Training and Development Manager to join our operations team. This training role will help us achieve our vision of continuously expanding our capabilities. We are never done getting better, and this leader will play a critical role in our inidual and collective development. The successful candidate will be focused on creating a great employee experience in conjunction with a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Directly lead both our team of corporate trainers as well as our specialized team of frontline support experts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on refining the training and development strategy while also owning the execution of the strategy
  • Conduct ongoing needs assessments to ensure the right training programs and support functions are available (develop new programs, modify or improve existing programs)
  • Oversee the intake process for new training requests
  • Coordinate creation, scheduling, and delivery of training across the full multimedia spectrum: live training (through remote technology), self-serve training, videos, materials, knowledge center, etc.
  • Deepen the effectiveness of our training programs by reinforcing concepts introduced in training throughout the operation (provide recommendations, train the trainer, coach the coaches)
  • Monitor outcomes through evaluation and measurement systems
  • Expand the influence of training and development within our culture

Requirements

  • 5+ years prior experience in training environment: needs assessment, course development, delivery
  • Working knowledge of assessment, design, implementation, and measurement strategies to address knowledge and skill gaps through training
  • Strong focus on excellent customer experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
