Experience: You have at least 2 years of professional graphic design or UX/UI design experience - agency experience is a plus!

Although we are seeking a “Freelancer” for right now we’d love to eventually have the possibility of you joining the team full-time!

So let’s talk a bit about role progression!

A lot of companies build cookie-cutter progression models that make their people feel like turtles climbing up a slide 🐢

It's a slow & painful climb!

We don't like these outdated traditional systems that limit people's full potential...

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to progress at a "Road Runner" speed with no limitations.

You should also be rewarded heavily if you've played a significant contribution to the growth of the agency ⚡🚀

How does our progression system work?

Let's take a look inside the system & explain some of the major components so you can understand exactly how we're able to give everyone in this role the opportunity for rapid growth!

Strengths & MO Analysis

Our progression system begins before you even join the team.

Prior to joining the team, part of our interview process requires you to take the Clifton Strengths 34 assessment & the Kolbe A test so we can better understand your strengths & operating style.

We use this data to help us better understand where & how you can grow the fastest.

Role Progression Examples

Alex started as an Advertising Specialist & upon examining his Clifton Strengths assessment & previous work history we discovered Alex had a deep love for people, operations, & strong prior managerial experience - thus he quickly took on the role of a Manager. He is now our COO and part-owner of the business.

Destaney joined BetterAMS as an Advertising Specialist in 2018 & entered a marketing & sales role after 1 year, she has since become an expert thought leader in the space! Also, she's now the CEO & co-owner!

Compensation Increases 💸

Again we don't have a cookie-cutter pathway where we can tell you that if you achieve XYZ we'll give you a promotion to XYZ title & which will result in an annual base salary raise of X%

We are a small & rapidly growing agency.

We do our best to measure the impact each team member has on the bottom line & give raises accordingly.

We do quarterly & annual reviews with everyone as well as monthly 1on1's, all of which help us keep a pulse on the impact everyone has on the bottom line in order to give fair compensation increases!

Working hours

There's no strict working schedule you must adhere to, we try to maintain a performance-based culture!

We're very flexible with working hours. Most of us step away for a coffee or a lunchtime gym session in the middle of the day. We just ask that you are able to be reached during normal business hours.

If you want to take your dog or child to the park after lunch & you don't have anything urgent to do, then great...go for it 🎡!!

**We simply ask that you don't abuse the privileges of working remotely & that you're responsible for scheduling your days & how much you're working!

Time away from work ✈️

All-time off is paid time off 🥳

  • There's no limit to the number of sick or vacation days. Take what you need to perform at your best!
  • We always recommend taking vacation time to "refresh and re-energize!"
