Title: Partnership Associate

 

The Role

We are a fast-growing startup looking for a highly motivated inidual to drive and develop new and existing partnerships. Your primary objectives will be to identify, sell to, onboard and integrate partner trade schools. You must be self-motivated, set high goals and over-deliver in half the scheduled time. Sales and/or customer relationship experience is important. Experience with HubSpot, Seamless.AI, LinkedIn and other sales tools is helpful. Communication skills are essential. Expect a highly-talented, driven, intense and bold team. Your compensation will include equity ownership. We are looking for someone excited by our mission.

  • We provide low-cost, data-driven, income-based financial products and services to trade schools.

 

Our solutions

Lenders, borrowers and servicers can all be aligned through income-based repayments. We identify and partner with high quality trade schools to offer income share agreements (ISAs) and installment payment plans to prospective students. Annually, 15M+ students attend trade schools. Enrollment for trade schools is growing at over 7% per year. Our existing partner schools have a Mia Share adoption rate of 10-70%.

 

We offer a complete solution; 1) structure programs (setting terms, underwriting criteria etc.), 2) servicing (accept/decline students, onboard students, payment processing, income verification, collections, etc.), 3) optional funding (providing capital to our partner schools). 

 

Our in-house platform is web based and is core to what we are trying to achieve. By building the tools in-house, we give ourselves flexibility, the ability to improve terms to students and partner schools, and scalability.

Location: 100% Remote (HQ’d is located in Jackson, WY)

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify high quality target partner schools.

  • Expert in cold-calling and ability to articulate emails

  • Communicate with prospective partners.

  • Advise schools on the financing options that best fit their students’ needs.

  • Assist schools through our school due diligence process 

  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

  • Travel will be required after COVID to visit schools, conferences etc…

  • Understanding of student loans and Income Share Agreements.

  • Experience in team-oriented environment.

  • Experience working with post-secondary schools, trade and vocational school market a plus.

  • Ability to be scrappy and resourceful.

  • Ability to think on your feet, but asks questions.

  • Track record of developing relationships.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience.
