She is supported by a world-class Board of Directors, including Aileen Lee (Founder and Managing Partner at Cowboy Ventures), Jess Lee (Partner at Sequoia Capital), Jessica Ross (CFO of Frontdoor), and Sarah Nahm (Co-Founder and Former CEO of Lever).Join us to create the change we want to see!About the RoleAs the Manager, Data & Impact, you will employ data expertise, business acumen, and systems knowledge to empower All Raise to measure and narrate our impact. To do this, you will help each team track, analyze, and report on internal data to accurately assess performance of our business. You will create and manage software integrations, provide diligent implementation oversight, and establish a process that ensures data ends up in a single, accessible place. And finally, you will work with our data partners to review industry-level data to identify key insights that elevate the need for our work in VC and tech. Success for this role looks like the following: - Within the first 30 days, you will learn the business and conduct a comprehensive review of our tools and systems, eventually making a recommendation about how teams should track, analyze, and report data. - Within the first 60 days, you are creating and enforcing processes and building reports and dashboards with insights into each team's metrics. - Within the first 90 days, you will be comfortable analyzing larger datasets from partners and sharing insights about the industry. This role will report to the VP of Strategic Operations and work cross-functionally with each All Raise team to identify their needs, build key reports, and ensure they get or have access to the data they need. This is a full-time, remote role. Team members participate in offsites throughout the year and are expected to attend in person. Travel to the VC Summit, Chapter events, industry conferences, etc. is also expected.As our Manager, Data & Impact you will:* Translate keen data analysis into strategic actions for All Raise. That is, what actions should we take to make progress towards our mission? * Develop a data system that is easy to use and gives the team access to their data in a clean, reliable way* Solve relevant business problems using data-powered platforms and tools (e.g., using Salesforce to send emails and track engagement, employing Zapier to streamline data collection across multiple tools) * Act as our first line of defense for data integrity: ensure that all data is error-free, high-quality, and easily understood * Pulling data for the teams as needed and/or establishing simple processes so that they can do this independently* Training the team on best practices for data capture via forms, surveys, etc. * Ensuring consistency across all data tools, e.g., standard language, formatting, and data points* Connecting event tools (e.g., Lu.ma, Hivebrite, AddEvent) to Salesforce to capture new contacts, attendance, and engagement* Collaborate with – and in some cases manage – external stakeholders and partners to collect, analyze, and report on internal and industry data that can be used to inform program development and thought leadership You have: * 5+ years of work experience with at least 3 years of data/analytics experience* Strong understanding of CRM (especially Salesforce), data management, and integrations including standing up your own database(s) and managing the infrastructure* Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption* Possess experience in business analytics, querying relational databases (e.g., SQL) and data visualizations (e.g., Tableau)* Strong data modeling skills to include data quality, source systems analysis, business rules validation, source target, mapping design, performance tuning, and high-volume data loadsYou are: * Opinionated about how an organization like All Raise can demonstrate impact* A strong verbal and written communicator* Excited to work with internal and external stakeholders, and willing to listen to teammates to identify new data challenges* Entrepreneurial and resourceful. You like building things from the ground up with a high level of ownership and autonomy* Energized by data and the possibilities that arise from good data analysis* Familiar with project management tools and applications * A decision-maker.
