Job purpose:

Research and develop various marketing strategies for the company's products. Implement marketing plans and work to meet sales quotas. Track marketing and sales data and identify areas of improvement.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Build and lead a team of motivated, high achiever sales consultants.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a focus on annuity revenue in the SME market.
  • Drive sales targets with team, in order to meet company's annual growth projections.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with the premium customer base clients.
  • Driving the implementation of sales campaigns supported by the marketing strategy.
  • Generating, qualifying and converting new leads.
  • Upselling/cross-selling additional products into the existing customer base.
  • Identify opportunities in our product portfolio and marketing campaigns to generate sales.
  • Manage productivity and reporting for the sales team.
  • Driving Sales and the sales team by leading by example.
  • Generating leads and ensuring follow through by sales team or Key account management of property developers and investors

 

Marketing

  • Maintain accurate information on company website.
  • Design promotional web pages to track effectiveness of other marketing initiatives.
  • Seek to maximize income, set goals and track vs. internal and external benchmarks and KPI's.
  • Seek to minimize marketing expenses, develop annual forecasts and strategies.
  • Writing, producing and ensuring the effective delivery of integrated marketing plans.
  • Building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the brand message and representation strongly and consistently professional across all channels and marketing efforts.
  • Effectively monitoring, measuring and reporting against marketing activity to ensure return on investment and meeting growth targets for various channels, organic, referral, paid search and Direct channels.
  • Drive, own and manage website lead conversions in line with traffic volumes.
  • Present creative initiatives for brand awareness and monitor competitor trends and performance.
  • Marketing Plans – market research, analysis, company position, designing proposals and recommendations regarding media, content, advertising and sales.
  • Company Presentation - posters, pamphlets, signage, onsite branding initiatives, catalogue designs, distribution of pamphlets etc.
  • Direct Marketing – project and event management, exhibitions, attending relevant events, liaising with our sponsored partners etc.
  • Networking – generating leads, closing deals and positively representing the brand.
  • Online and Digital Marketing – Social media platforms, website management, content creation and management, liaising with online partners, e-mail marketing, SEO optimization, online review portals etc. and working closely with the graphic designer ensuring that all print and online needs are met according to the standards and time frame expected.
  • Executes email marketing, and display advertising.
  • Verifies all advertising for the company in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.
  • Social Media Content Management
  • Facilitates social media engagement and updating content in local digital channels (e.g. hotel website, travel sites).
  • Keeps abreast of competition and its collateral, advertising, and marketing efforts and constantly evolving digital and marketing trends.
  • Knowledgeable in paid search in order to assist with the optimisation and management of our paid ad campaigns. You should be skilled in search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimisation (SEO) with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Drive online and social media digital strategy as well as maintain digital corporate identity with 3rd party consumer platform (Hello Peter, My Broadband, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Drive consumer ranking and rating, on 3rd party platforms (Hello Peter and Google), by partnering with Customer Support ision.

 

Budgeting

  • Preparing and managing annual marketing budget
  • Budget/Finance - You will be responsible for the management of the marketing budget, tracking reports against the budget and ensuring that the business is receiving a value-added response from the marketing.
  • Manages F&B media schedules and verifies prompt settlement of accounts.
  • Engages in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and responds accordingly.

 

Public Relations

  • Develops a comprehensive PR plan per quarter along with agency and executes post sign-off from COS.
  • Maintains a comprehensive list of local media contracts, with particular emphasis on food critics and bloggers.
  • Manages assigned accounts as per the media account management system.
  • Writes and distributes all press releases for property events, promotions, and outlets.
  • Supports pull through of impactful PR strategy & activities to drive quality press coverage through media engagement, in alignment with communications objectives.
  • Verifies the news clippings and other online, print, and social media mention report is completed on a monthly basis for property distribution.
  • Surfaces and vets PR leads which are the best media to promote the company.

 

Minimum requirements

  • Tertiary qualification relating to the field (on-line marketing, sales, communications, media, and specifically social media)
  • 8 + years' hands on experience in on-line Marketing and Sales strategies with proven results
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience in the web hosting industry shall be advantageous but is not essential
  • Ability to work within an allocated budget and has a strong financial acumen
  • Experience in networking and building strategic on-line, revenue-generating relationships with online partners
  • Extensive experience in Social media development strategies and traction, digital PR, influencer campaigns etc.
