Aging Media Network is a boutique media company covering the $7.1 trillion business of senior housing and care. With fresh, daily content, modern design, and industry expertise, we've built a community of industry executives and participants for our clients to connect with.

We are seeking an experienced B2B Media Sales Representative with measured success in developing new sales and managing existing accounts. The position is responsible for driving revenue in the appropriate vertical using the AMN product suite to develop a pipeline of new clients in each respective industry, field inbound inquiries and grow existing accounts. This position requires someone who is energetic and highly motivated, demonstrates strong initiative and is an experienced sales representative comfortable selling online advertising, custom content, webinars, white papers, content, and event sponsorships.

This is a full-time, salaried position plus commission with the ability to work remote. Some travel may be required to trade conferences to meet with clients and prospects (less than 20%) at such time normal business travel resumes.

Position responsibilities:

  • Serve as first point of entry/contact for the sales department on the assigned publication(s), answering incoming calls and general email inquiries as necessary
  • Conduct outbound calling and email campaigns for vertical markets. This includes display advertising for newsletters and websites; white papers; webinars; and other custom content programs.
  • Execute an integrated sales approach for event sponsorships with new and existing clients
  • Work with other Aging Media Sales Directors and Management on cross-vertical proposals and account relationships as required
  • Follow up on and nurture leads as directed and within designated timeframes within CRM system
  • Responsible for on-boarding and follow up of deliverables upon executed engagement letters/projects
  • Make preliminary assessment of lead quality and schedule appointments with prospects as appropriate
  • Maintain and update lead and client records in CRM
  • Coordinate with accounting team on invoicing and other billing/receivable matters
  • Conduct research that supports the development of the sales pipeline, such as performing company searches or gathering client or market trend information
  • Communicate feedback from leads and customers as appropriate within the organization
  • Work with management, events, marketing, and custom content teams as needed
  • Stay up to date with the industry and with new products and services
  • Create engagement letters and follow up with customers as required for project requirements and order status
  • Identify and respond to problems with clients and suggesting recommendations to management for resolution
  • Prepare and engage in weekly/monthly sales reporting and meetings

  • High level of integrity and work ethic

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in sales role for a media publication or advertising account executive/sales role (preferred)
  • Hands on experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or Hubspot
  • Advanced knowledge/expertise using MS Office and/or Google Suite
  • Basic understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Strong professional references upon request
  • Experience selling face-to-face at industry events and expositions
  • Experience in working with direct clients and agencies to execute B2B media campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
  • Authorized to work in the United States (required)

Reporting relationships:

  • This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
  • This position does not manage other employees.
