About Airvet:

Founded in Los Angeles in 2019, Airvet is modernizing the way pet parents care for their pets. The pet industry is already a $100+ billion domestic industry, and Airvet has quickly become one of the largest pet telehealth and connected care platforms in the country. In our first 18 months, we've become the #1 rated and reviewed pet telehealth platform in the App Store and Google Play. To date, we’ve helped over 200,000 pets connect with thousands of world-class veterinarians and specialists across the country. Back in 2020, we closed a $17 million Series A from Tier 1 venture firms, and have been rapidly expanding into new markets. If you love pets and believe that every pet deserves access to world-class care, Airvet may be the perfect team for you. We look forward to building the future of pet care together.

  • Put users first by empathizing and leveraging design thinking principles.  Work through all facets of the product design life cycle - from user empathy, defining problems/goals, discovery/ideation, drafting sketches and wireframes, building higher fidelity prototypes, and then collaborating with PMs to conduct user testing.

  • Deliver outcomes by measuring results and gathering user feedback alongside PMs to iterate and continuously improve.

  • Debate openly by performing design reviews and providing feedback to software developers and other designers during the product development process.

  • Act like an owner on the cross-functional team to deliver work by driving with urgency, and accelerating time by emphasizing the use of best-in-class tools and techniques.

What Would Make You a Strong Fit for the Role?

  • A total of 5+ years of experience in Product Design that includes 2+ years of leading large-scale, user-facing initiatives at a product-based organization.

  • Fluency in best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design; practical knowledge of User-Centered Design processes and lifecycles; ability to provide and effectively communicate strategic and tactical recommendations based on quantitative/qualitative data and optimal Design practices.

  • Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to influence and deliver results.

  • Analytical skills and high judgment.

  • Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
