Social Media Manager

Job Description

The Sage Group’s client, a healthcare provider that recently launched a new kind of employer-based health insurance, is in search of a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will represent the corresponding brand on social media channels and drive related creative content on an impactful cadence. The right candidate should be fired up about the role of social media in driving new business and member enrollment, creating delightful customer experiences, and inspiring healthy behavior change. This role will deploy, measure, and optimize marketing strategies to attract, engage, and retain audiences. This will be done by creating and sharing valuable, engaging, relevant content to establish expertise, promote awareness, and drive demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop social media campaigns across organic channels and ad platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and, potentially, TikTok)
  • Define and implement processes and infrastructure to enable proactive and reactive engagement
  • Establish and maintain a social media content calendar
  • Coordinate with the internal marketing team and external creative resources to develop compelling social media content
  • Write related campaign ad copy, including post copy, headlines, and calls to action
  • Engage with commenters across channels working closely with member support
  • Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain a social media community
  • Analyze organic and paid social media to meet set KPIs and adjust content and tactics as necessary to achieve them
  • Stay up to date on the quickly evolving social media landscape and help us better drive its effectiveness
  • Educate internal teams across the organization on social media best practices, and establish yourself as a subject matter expert and thought leader within the organization

Qualifications:

  • 5 + years of experience working as an owned and paid social media manager for high-touch brands, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy
  • Committed to developing creative that is distinct, thought-provoking, clear, and inspiring.
  • B2B and D2C content and conversion experience
  • Experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Experience with social media management and listening tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset and uses metrics to iterate on content and tactics
  • Desire to own the full social media function
  • Natural collaborator

Duration: Direct Hire

Location: Remote, US Only
Compensation: $140k Depending on Experience
