As a well-funded and profitable private company with a seasoned leadership team, Age of Learning invests in developing innovative education solutions to further its mission of helping kids everywhere achieve academic success. To date, Age of Learning’s primary business model has been providing subscription products to parents at home. However, over the past five years, the company has made significant investments in patented personalized mastery learning products that we believe can drive significant learning outcomes in schools.     Age of Learning is seeking to add to its leadership team a Director of Marketing, who will develop and drive our marketing strategy and implementation to drive success of our expanding school-based (Mastery product) portfolio.  This position works closely with our Curriculum, Product Management, Sales, and Brand (Research, Brand Growth, Communications, Customer Success) teams to drive sales revenue and overall profitability.  This position will play a key role in product positioning and the development of mastery product Go-to-Market strategy. The Director of Marketing will also drive, articulate and leverage the organization’s unique ability to deliver value to the Schools market.    This position will be responsible for the development of an detailed full-cycle marketing plan, designed to guide all phases of the product lifecycle, from market entry thru and including expansion in the lifetime value of the customer. The Marketing Director will work with Product Management and Brand to identify and position against competitive offerings and to develop a complete suite of highly engaging sales materials, prospect collateral and sales presentations.  The Marketing Director will monitor and report on success of various campaigns through concise dashboards utilizing Salesforce.com.  This role will be instrumental to setting the course for Sales success, and will provide clear direction to the Age of Learning executive team on all matters related to our Mastery product marketing strategy and execution. 

< class="h3">Responsibilities:
  • Develop a marketing strategy to assure sales success and win market share against the competition. 
  • Develop and manage a multi-year marketing and Mastery Product plan.
  • Partner with the Brand Team to develop and implement Advertising, Public Relations, Trade Shows, and other forms of visibility (e.g. speaking engagements).
  • Map and execute campaigns against target markets and market segments.
  • Evaluate competitive pricing models.
  • Champion customer-focused engagement and feedback loops through executive-level panels
  • Use data-driven analysis through Salesforce.com to evaluate and improve win/loss, pipeline trajectory and marketing efficacy.
  • Develop Demand Generation and Lead Nurturing programs.
  • Lead training and compliance efforts to ensure proper understanding and use of sales materials.
  • Proactively manage communications with relevant executive Age of Learning stakeholders.

< class="h3">Required Qualifications:
  • 10 years minimum experience in educational product marketing role, with exposure to marketing  new educational technology products.
  • Strong internal and external collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of  schools and district level product requirements. 
  • Strong analytical thinker with experience leveraging data and analytics to drive customer value.
  • Mission-driven, values-based marketing leader with experience in building processes and systems from the ground up.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field. MBA, M.ED or relate and teaching experience highly desirable.
