< class="h3">  < class="h3">What is a Product Designer II?

We have a career progression framework that includes Inidual Contributor (IC) and People Manager (PM) tracks. IC1 is a junior Product Designer, IC4 is a senior Product Designer, and IC levels 2 and 3 cover that middle area.

 

< class="h3">In this role you will:

As a Product Designer II you’ll be responsible for:

  • Working closely with a Product Manager and 2 to 3 software engineers in a cross-functional team:
    • Facilitating UX research
    • Understanding and challenging the problem space for our users and customers
    • Turning research insights into solution concepts
    • Helping the team move forward in the face of roadblocks
    • Communicating your ideas and plans to the team in an engaging way
    • Designing experiences that people love, remember and recommend
    • Measuring the impact of your work and adapting where we’ve missed the mark
  • Inspire the design function and help implement new ideas and processes
  • Actively participate in building and delivering the Design strategy for the next few years
  • Give and receive meaningful feedback to help the team grow and develop
  • Be a user advocate across the whole business

Requirements

You must have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer
  • An obsession for delivering value to our customers in a collaborative and iterative way
  • A strong appetite for measuring the impact of your work and that of your cross-functional team
  • Some experience working in a fast paced Agile environment
  • A passion for good user experience and user interface
  • Self-awareness and humility – you know that honest feedback is how you grow, and you’re not afraid to ask for help
  • A strong appetite for interacting with users and customers at key moments of the design process
  • An understanding of how design strategies can enable significant business impact

 

Let us know if you have: (all of these are desirable, but none are required)

  • SaaS or B2B experience
  • Built and maintained a high quality design system
  • Experience in conducting Job-to-be-done Research
  • Experience working with a Product Marketing team
  • An eye for UX Copywriting
  • An interest in behavioural science applied to digital products

This is a permanent full-time role. We cannot offer visa sponsorship and you must be able to work in the UK.

  • Live anywhere in the UK; we have 6 set days per year that we require the team to be together in our London office, but you have the flexibility to live anywhere in the UK

  • A benchmarked salary from £38,000 — £42,000 based on your level within our progression framework
  • Equity options after 3 months
