The Sales Executive will report to the Team Leader and be a key player in bringing our mission to life. In this role, you will work on the company's front lines, increasing product awareness and providing life-saving solutions to commercial organizations.   This is a self-driven position where building strong relationships and generating and converting qualified leads into happy customers are keys to success. Our ideal candidate is someone who uses a customer-centric approach to create wins in the commercial market.

< class="h3">A Day in the Life:
  • Develop a strong understanding of key influencers, decision-makers, and the target market.
  • Become an expert in the Alertus solution and all of our product offerings and perform killer demos on your own.
  • Be relentless in building and maintaining a pipeline of truly qualified opportunities, which lead to consistent ability to exceed quota.
  • Conduct web and in-person presentations to key stakeholders and decision-makers in the commercial & government space.
  • Drive new logos and work with the customer success team to ensure top customer experience.
  • Understand, overcome, and innovate new methods to proactively combat common roadblocks within the commercial & government market.
  • Ensure all tracking is updated and pipeline integrity/statuses are reliable, continually learn from experience and the data, and improve daily in your role.

< class="h3">Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and sell to multiple buyers within an organization
  • An understanding of the commercial landscape and all the protocols and requirements needed to be an effective sales leader
  • Experience prospecting through phone driven initiatives, demoing through web applications, and closing deals through in-person presentations or meetings at the enterprise level
  • Hands-on experience using sales enablement tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, and Zoom
  • Ability to manage both short and long sales cycles
  • A consultative sales approach focused on creating value and trust

< class="h3">Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of sales/business development experience, preferably in IT or technology-based solutions, ENS experience a plus
