We are seeking an Agile Project Manager / APM to oversee the successful development of our digital products. You will lead a cross-functional development team through all phases of the product development process, from discovery, through development, to product launch using your Agile practices, Project Management processes, and facilitation skills to predictably produce high-quality software releases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile, Kanban, and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment and deliver the business goals.
• A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel.

We are looking for a talented Senior Test Automation Developer with an interest or experience in FinTech to join our team as a team lead. 

The successful candidate should have experience in Kotlin, as it is our main programming language, and be ready to use it in their work. You will be responsible for testing a web application that uses React.js on the frontend and Kotlin + Spring Boot 3 on the backend, with GraphQL as the protocol between the two. 

We already have a full CI/CD infrastructure based on Jenkins, but we need a QA leader who can manage and enhance it. We’re a small company that created and sells a cool, unusual software product to the marketing departments of colleges. Merit is a very “flat” organization, management-wise, so we hire people who are independent and self-directed. You have a strong curiosity about technology in general. By now you may have curated a specific set of tools for your industry (including workstation and OS preferences) which we are happy to accommodate. Our current infrastructure is cloud-based with Terraform provisioning and Ansible configuration with potential to move toward platform as a service.

• Your experience should include professionally administering GNU/Linux-based systems focused on supporting web applications and surrounding services, and have a familiarity with the work in the above first bullet points.
• Experience with supporting aspects of platform engineering, such as Python/Golang programming and Bash scripting are highly welcomed.

We are looking for someone who likes creating stability and efficiency in a cloud environment. Someone who is versatile at the shell to debug weird network issues, but who hates snowflakes. Someone who likes developing tools that are used by other developers, and makes their lives easier. Someone who masters our cloud.

Whilst it is possible to run completely “server less” these days, that isn’t always practical for all applications. Thus we still run a moderate cloud stack on the Google Cloud Platform. As you can see in the description of our stack, we use Hashicorp’s tools for deployment. That means a Consul + Vault cluster, and Nomad to schedule (container) jobs. That actually runs stable without too much maintenance. Most of the work is in improving the experience of other developers, and making it easier for them to do the things they need to do on the operations side.

For example, we use Terraform to control and set up our resources. However that doesn’t mean that it is clear for everyone what to use and how to tie that together. Modularizing and documenting is key here. Also, we want to enable continuous integration, so everyone can see what the effect would be of their changes, without giving everyone the proverbial keys to the kingdom.

The rest of the team will look at you for advice on how to deploy their service, how to keep sight on its metrics and errors. Note that whilst you are probably the one with the most knowledge, we do rotate on-call duties with the whole team.

As a Senior DevOps / SysOps Engineer, you will lead the ops team to manage and improve the AWS web infrastructure used by Punchbowl.com. You will be responsible for ensuring site reliability, monitoring and enhancing the observability of key systems, security, reliable deployment of services, disaster recovery planning, and CI. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the development team to improve our processes and our Ruby on Rails applications and services.

You are:

• An expert of Linux systems’ administration covering security, maintenance, backups, disaster recovery, storage management, monitoring, etc. (Ubuntu)
• Experienced with AWS infrastructure management experience: EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, CloudFront, Route53, RDS, ElastiCache
• An expert in command line and bash scripting skills
• Experienced with database administration (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledgeable in infrastructure configuration management tools (Terraform, Chef)
• Experienced in how to use and maintain monitoring, logging, & observability tools (ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios)

Responsibilities

• Triage reports from our security monitoring tools with the engineering team
• Build and maintain scalable high-quality backend services and productivity tools
• Maintain a strong security awareness through frequent assessments and software architecture design processes
• Build automation to continuously assess security risks around our AWS cloud infrastructure and further SaaS tools we integrate with like GitHub

Build and deliver a secure production ready CI/CD solution for embedded edge devices, that allows the developers to deploy, update, rollback and monitor deployments via simple commands. 

**Project Deliverables

• Engage with SCW development team to understand and analyze how developers currently build and deploy Edge Device systems for Survail.
• Provide a Findings & Recommendations Analysis Report on current build, deploy process/capabilities for Edge Devices, and engage development team for consensus/sign off on recommendations.
• Utilizing signed off recommendations, evolve the current developer capabilities into a coherent and opinionated but loosely-coupled ideation for CI/CD platform for Edge Devices. 
• Define the RoadMap to transition from current developer build, deploy Edge Device capabilities into a Proposed Architecture, and gain consensus/sign off on Proposed Architecture from the development team. 
• Build Out Proposed Architecture.
• Implement Proposed Architecture.
• Test Proposed Architecture.
• Productionize Proposed Architecture having passed UAT from the development team. 
• Provide Knowledge Transfer/Training/Access to the development team on Productionized CI/CD Architecture.

The position

We’re looking for a Technical Architect to oversee the technical aspect of development for overlapping development teams that focus on one of our largest partners working in emergency medical education. This role would include planning, designing, leading, and executing technical solutions and improvements. We are open to iniduals of various experience levels, though ideally you’ll be joining us with at least one prior full-time experience in a technical leadership role. Job Overview

Podchaser is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to be responsible for the ongoing configuration and maintenance of our existing stack including CI/CD pipelines, automating our software delivery processes and the general management and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.

Working alongside our CTO and the rest of the engineering team, you'll develop and maintain container deployment, continuous integration, monitoring systems and performance troubleshooting, using your experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and Elasticsearch, as well as your ability to learn new technologies.

Responsible for our security management and infrastructure roadmap, this role is integral to our development work, ensuring our platform is compliant and secure.

You will be taking over for an outgoing employee, so there will be a handover period after which you will be expected to ensure that business can continue as usual, while also collaborating on new projects.

This is a senior role, and we are only considering applicants with significant DevOps experience - at least 5 years experience is desired.

This is a 100% remote position, our engineers can live and work anywhere in the world, though there will be a requirement of at least some overlapping work hours with Melbourne, Australia (GMT+10).

• Responsibility for our existing Kubernetes cluster and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they are able to run smoothly with minimal downtime.
