A successful Sales Development Representative at Wurk will seek new brands and companies to onboard to our platform and spark interest in Wurk through outbound efforts. This person will be responsible for setting appointments for interested prospective clients with our account executives and beginning the sales cycle with new clients.

 
Responsibilities

  • Meet KPIs and activity goals via phone calls, emails, and market research.
  • Set meetings for new prospective clients that have shown an interest in Wurk and have a likelihood of closing.
  • Have a general product and industry knowledge to align our ideal clients with our solution
  • Willingness to attend conferences, industry events, and outbound client researching activities
  • Eagerness to build pipeline to hit sales team revenue goals
  • Be the first contact and interaction with prospects through inbound and outbound channels
  • Extensively research companies, events, news articles, social media platforms, etc. for relevant leads and new prospects
  • Establish rapport during initial conversations while positioning the Wurk solution appropriately
  • Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Partnership Teams to leverage communication channels, outreach, and prospecting cadences
  • Identify key decision-makers in organizations to ensure multi-threading with prospects across internal isions
  • Manage a constantly evolving database of leads in Salesforce and HubSpot, efficiently processing all pre-sales functions prior to handoff with Account Executive
  • Other duties as required

Required Skill Sets and Experience

  • 2-year degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, and ability to learn new technologies such as CRMS
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • A strong sense of motivation and eagerness to hit activity targets
  • Driven by uncapped earning potential and desire to exceed quotas regularly
  • Personable and able to maintain a positive working relationship with clients and team members
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate National prospect time zones
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Cannabis experience, knowledge, reform or passion a plus

The base salary range for this position is $40,000 to $60,000.
