About the role: Limeade is seeking a Paralegal and Contracts Manager to join our fast-paced Legal Team. In this business-facing role, you will report to the General Counsel and support the two other attorneys on the Legal Team. You will be the first point of contact for all legal inquires, review submissions, initial contract creation, and more. You will develop and administer a legal intake process (ticketing system) to assign and track all legal projects. Utilizing our existing CLM (Summize), you will update and maintain Limeade’s contract repository to facilitate easy business access to all of Limeade’s commercial agreements. Day-to-day projects will include redlining of agreements, coordinating multi-department review of complex SaaS contracts, responding to a high volume of legal inquiries via email, and maintaining Legal Team’s tools and resources including Sharepoint, CLM, DocuSign, and One Drive.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage legal projects including preparing and redlining contracts (NDAs, MSAs and SaaS agreements)
  • Maintain, utilize, and develop new automated legal templates (MSAs, Amendments, Order Forms, Work Orders, etc.)
  • Develop business facing tools (instruction manuals, videos, slide presentations) explaining legal processes, procedures, and tools in fun, easy to understand formats
  • Work with internal partners to develop and maintain a legal project intake and management system (ticketing, assignment, tracking, etc.)
  • Maintain a file system for legal documentation using Summize (CLM software) and act as a legal librarian, ensuring reference materials are current
  • Interpret, synthesize, and summarize complicated legal documents at business stakeholder request
  • Review and analyze Limeade’s risk profile by running AI-based assessments of all signed agreements as requested by business stakeholders
  • Draft and revise and proof-read corporate meeting minutes, internal communications and customer notices under the supervision of the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience, at least 2 years in-house supporting SaaS business
  • Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in all standard office tools; SalesForce, DocuSign, any CLM a plus
  • Experience building and maintaining contract repository
  • Experience developing training resources to educate business stakeholders on legal processes, procedures, and legal topics.Working knowledge of corporate legal functions and contract negotiations to include corporate law, employment law, IP development, privacy, and international law
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and procedure
  • Approachable demeanor with ability to collaborate cross functionally
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university preferred
  • CLM experience strongly preferred
  • In-house experience strongly preferred
  • Experience at a software company preferred
  • Software sales contract experience preferred

What We Offer

  • Base salary estimated range between $75,000 to $123,000 annually, depending on the hiring location. New hires generally start between $68,000 – $106,000 per year. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets, relevant experience, and geographic location from which the role is performed.
