The Role:

Quantis is seeking a strategic account manager to lead our clients in achieving their environmental sustainability goals and supporting their organizational transformation. We are looking for professionals that have experience in the food, beverage, or similar industry for this role.

Our account managers serve as trusted guides, strategists, and advisors. Quantis account managers grow deep relationships with multiple key clients and develop rich expertise in their sectors to provide industry insight to help co-create strategies for our clients. We utilize a collaborative approach, our expertise, and our science-based solutions to help clients reach their current and future goals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by being the first point of contact for all client requests, questions, and concerns.
    • Co-create comprehensive strategies with clients and help clients curate a vision for their environmental sustainability goals.
    • Take ownership and accountability for ensuring the work is completed to the clients satisfaction with exceptional quality by collaborating with project teams and consultants to ensure clients goals are met.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Develop and grow deep relationships with clients by understanding their needs, their industry, their unique challenges, and their aspirations.
    • Regularly communicate with clients through meetings, emails, and conversations discussing project updates, progress towards the vision, and addressing client needs.
    • Facilitate group discussions with clients and their project teams to review deliverables and track progress towards achieving the clients vision.
  • Business Development:
    • Manage the sales process for existing accounts by leading sales conversations to identify and scope out new opportunities.
    • Take accountability to drive revenue growth and ensure sales close on client accounts.
    • Lead and support business development initiatives to grow existing and new accounts.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Communicate and coordinate with team leads, consultants, and project team members to ensure all relevant information from the client is shared to ensure project teams are set up for success.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and check-ins with team members to support project planning, discuss project progress, and strategies on overcoming obstacles.

What You’ll Need To Thrive:

  • 5 or more years of account management experience providing strategic support to clients. Experience in the environmental sustainability space is a plus.
  • 2 or more years of experience working in the food, beverage, or similar industry.
  • A proven track record of being able to grow key client accounts and building lasting relationship with stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of leading and supporting business development initiatives that grow revenue.
  • The ability to help clients craft a vision for their organization and environmental sustainability goals.
  • Exceptional communication; communicating effectively with clients and communicating effectively with project team members.
  • A mix of people skills to manage the relationship and analytical skills to form innovative strategies
  • A education, background, and passion for environmental sustainability consulting.

Additional Detail:

  • This is a remote position with the ability to work anywhere in the US with occasional travel to the Boston area (HQ location) to meet with team members and participate in team building retreats.

Salary will be determined based on potential for contribution to the organization’s success.
